Hamas want their food distribution business back and they are willing to sacrifice the Palestinian people in order  to force Israel to give them back their profitable business .

   Hamas rely of profiting from food distribution for their survival and Israel taking their business leaves Hamas powerless and broke .

The article in the OP also mentions France is set to formally recognize the Palestinian State in September and the British Government considering doing likewise.

 

The Lobby group Friends of Israel naturally object.

Stop it now. That BBC video says they were told 900,000 children are starving and 70,000 have malnutrition and you make jokes about it. 
wasn’t the destruction of Gaza to kill Hamas according to you.

Why are there still some left, because this is not about Hamas, it’s about starving the Gazans and making Gaza unlivable, which is ethnic cleansing.
