Brain shrinkage more likely an effect of COVID vaccination. Maybe by design.

A hell of a lot of people died due to Covid , sure people were scared .

A hell of a lot of people die of the flu every year.  But thank God, in 2020 and 2021, Covid cured the flu! :glare:
However, more probably, the flu case numbers as well as any upper respiratory infection in 2020 and 2021 were lumped into one column labeled "Covid".  The death numbers were purposefully amplied with the intent of literally spreading panic in order to push the mRNA Covid shots.  "The Experts" were actually smug enough to claim that the annual flu had literally disappeared.
THAT - is complete and utter bovine excrement.  How can anyone trust the people spreading that nonsense?  People who did are complete fools.  And those who spread that nonsense need to be held accountable.

I think in Asia generally, not just Thailand, there is a very pronounced, how to put this delicately, womanly fear. This most likely has to do with the Asians having lower testosterone levels than Caucasians and Blacks, which is also why Ladyboys are much more prevalent in Asia, as is homosexuality.

Right there!  Thanks SeaBee.  ☝️ "Hallaluya!!! COVID CURED THE FLU IT'S A MIRACLE!!!." 👆 And I have a bridge over the River Kwai that I'm selling.  If you believe that Covid cured the flu, I'll sell it to you half priced.  Get it quick, offer expires soon!

Do you people who bought that bovine excrement actually know what a "Confidence Game" is?  My guess is that the same people who believe that "Covid Cured The Flu" are probably ripe pickings for call center scams.

This year my dentist, who had a morbid fear of Covid, actually took her freaking mask off and stopped wearing it during consultations.  Four years of fear.  Yeah - that can shrink your brain and damage your overall health.  With that said, I was somewhat surprised to find a doctor (yeah, female) who was still in fear of Covid.  I kid you not, she actually said, "You may get Covid."  I told her I already had it, had natural immunity, and probably not.  But I could see the fear in her face.  That's just...sad.
This woman doctor lives in morbid fear of pathogens and works in a hospital.  My bets are that when she began her career she had no such fear.  Nope, this gal bought into the Covid Pandemic fear 110% and refuses to let it go to this day. Speaking to her I was pretty obvious she was scared of all pathogens now. That's irrational. I have to admit one thing - she was incredibly stressed.  That stress will eventually mess up her health, I'd make bet on it.

It's completely over the top. Even in Central Festival you still see girls wearing this face mask. I'm almost convinced they just can't be bothered to put make-up.

Funny - all your comments are 1 liners - with the occasional 2 liner. There is no display of cognitive 'sharpness' on display.

That's about 90% of the people who post on AseanNow.  Very few write more than a couple of sentences. I wonder how many are just bots.

many ladies my work wear masks.

they have face issues... and hideous without.

You call that 'sharp' - try again mate.

Your 'insults' remind me of an Australian PM who was responding to a 5 minute personal attack by a Member of the Opposition. "MR Speaker, I must say after listening to all that, I feel rather good. It was like being slapped with warm lettuce'.  The whole assembly laughed - opposition members struggled not to do so.

Me thinks your attempts at insult are likewise 'weak' and maybe Covid caused?

Yawn !

Someone do me a favor and take a look-see at this linked study from some data wonks at Stanford.  It's blocked here where I'm staying.

Here's where I found it:  Landmark Stanford Study Finds COVID Jabs ‘Saved Far Fewer Lives Than First Thought’ | The Gateway Pundit | by Ben Kew  (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/)

I realize that the Gateway Pundit is a right wing rag.  But that doesn't mean they're wrong...  It'll be interesting to see if the study gains traction.

I'm not going to repeat any of their claims, leaving that to the curiosity (or lack thereof) of the readers here.

It must be said, however, that even before COVID, women in Asia covered themselves with masks.

This behavior must have been active because sometimes when they laugh, they cover their mouths with their hands. Therefore, for many women, masks are a form of protection from strangers, so as not to reveal their emotions.

Crooked oversized teeth are a major problem in Asia, due to the smaller skull and jaw.

People make fun of the English for bad teeth, but so many Thais never ever go to the dentist as children, negligent parents, or poor parents.

That a hospital is a very dangerous place is no news, given all the sick people arriving for treatment, and then imposing a mask, proven to be absolutely useless against viruses because it fails to filter them, is rather idiotic.

So with all the stupidities that were applied during the COVID period, it's clear that the stupid became intelligent and the intelligent became stupid. The result was that the final stupidity was the most successful in proportion to the population.

Huh?  masks proven to be useless against viruses?  That's a new one on me.  Sure, some basic masks are not very effective, but what about N95 masks and their effectiveness to filter out the very small virus pathogens.

Dr Google says:

N95 masks offer a high degree of protection against COVID-19. Studies have shown that N95 masks are highly effective at blocking the virus, including airborne transmission. One study specifically highlighted the "duckbill" N95 mask as nearly perfect in blocking the escape of airborne COVID-19 according to a study by the University of Maryland | School of Public Health. While any mask provides some protection, N95s offer the most significant reduction in the spread of the virus.

Some posters seem to think that the only reason to wear a facemask is to guard against Covid pathogens.  This is rubbish!  Doctors, nurses and patients in hospitals wear facemasks to protect against all airborne pathogens, such as flu, common cold etc, and then larger pollution particles, soot etc.  Wearing a mask can also protect others from the krap that you are breathing and coughing out.....

Good thing the vast majority of masks worn are not n95 then eh.

I don't know where you lived during the Covid period but here in Thailand those who wore an N95 mask were a rarity and this also in hospitals.

That these masks N95 are efficient against Covid in the laboratory is possible but in reality it is another thing

Why?  And does your comment also include efficiency against common cold, flu viruses, airborne bacteria, soot particles etc?

YES...........That is a key part of it certainly in Japan.....people are considerate and try to minimise the risk of them infecting other people....especially on public transport......but obviously many on here would just cough in your face and tell you to get on with it.

So the studies are a little useless when not practiced in reality. Which means that most of the mask wearing was in fact a waste of time as the masks that were worn were ineffective.

Because it is very evident that every mask prevents you from breathing freely and therefore from receiving less oxygen and, conversely, the carbon dioxide that you exhale accumulates in the mask, so the result is that you have a lower energy intake and then logically, the fact of not being able to expel a greater quantity of air accumulates over the course of the day many bacteria in your body that your body wanted to eliminate and so you breathe them in again and again.

The result: these masks are a kind of modern torture put on for the fear of getting sick instead of leaving the human body to fight the thousands of viruses with our natural protection that must defend itself every day from natural aggression and if you prevent this, your natural protection decreases more and more and your antibodies are considerably weakened so what you consider a salvation turns into a defeat for the work of your antibodies.

It's logical that doctors and nurses wear masks in operating rooms because the human body undergoes an operation and is consequently deprived of active antibody protection, being busy trying to survive, and is therefore greatly weakened.

But in practical life, masks are more harmful than beneficial unless a person already has very low levels of antibody protection. In this case, it could theoretically be beneficial for short periods, but I doubt it will be beneficial in practice in the long run.

Really goes to show how easily an almost entire population can go batscrazy so quickly. How easily they can be manipulated into taking whatever drug the gov tells them.

Now you (me and everyone else) know how the "Nazis"

had so much support from ordinary people for their  "batcrazy" ideas.

There is a theory its called mass formation psychosis   I believe it was used during the "pandemic"  to control  the masses.

Well, I'm glad you're not my doctor, spouting that kind of unscientific garbage!  You seem to be suggesting that wearing an N95 mask is akin to breathing in and out from a balloon...

I wear an N95 mask every day, all the time that I'm outside and in proximity to others.  I certainly have no problems breathing freely with my mask on, jogging is also no problem.

Is not that the mask itself is ineffective, it’s how the user is functioning with it on. Wearing a mask gives folks a sense of security and protection, when in fact a wearing a mask is completely useless if the user is touching it, adjusting it, taking it on and off with contaminated hands. An individual would be less likely to contract a pathogen if they never wore a mask and didn’t touch their face, opposed to wearing a mask and fiddling around with the mask, which is what many end up doing.
