LOCATION OR CITY if you want advice when posting

One of the things I find a little frustrating is when people ask where to buy, a problem with immigration, who to see or ask for any local advice and do not say where they are from.

Am I the only one tht gets a little irked with this.

many of us have been here a while, but it is hard to advise about where to go or what to do when we do not know the persons location

Calm down and don’t let such a minor thing be a bother.

Some folks aren’t very savvy when posting, so you can simply hit the report button. Also you can simply ask their location and then request the op to ask for the post be moved.

I agree - now if someone asks for advice but have not advised where they are residing, I dont bother replying.

Get over yourself and don’t be so weak minded about it. Some folks don’t have much experience on the internet, especially much older folks.

Also those old people taking forever to pay at the cash register, who can't even walk. Why do they even leave the house?

Just to annoy us?

1. Lazada and Shopee will deliver anywhere.

2. Many posters don't understand every Immigration office/bank branch has it's own rules and requirements.

My pet peeve is when someone asks for help/advice, people give them suggestions then they never come back to update the thread or let anyone know the outcome.

Thailand is not for these people, it's not disability friendly.

Thank God. Of course it's not family friendly, but it doesn't stop these annoying mothers with their screaming brood either.

I would rather be behind a old guy who's fumbling for his cash, then behind a young guy who is struggling to use his phone app and taking 5 minutes to pay for coffee.

A total unwillingness to carry around even the smallest amount of cash seems to be one of the great weaknesses of Gen Z. To some of us it comes off as rather pathetic.

Those apps take some time, that's a fair point.

Regarding people who ask for advice without enough info - I see this everyday in the Bangkok Expats forum on Facebook. Usually posted as Annonymous too. "Where can I buy a curling iron?"

Looking for a bar area with happy hour near immigration. Also what time does the bank close? Thx

Please, stay off the computer for a while. It will make you feel much better.

That simple!
