Praying for God`s Army the beloved IDF as well praying for the Peace of Jerusalem

The IDF has presented evidence that Al Jazeera journalists, including Anas al-Sharif,  were members of Hamas or Islamic Jihad.  Whether you choose to believe that evidence is another matter.

The IDF has said:  "Al-Sharif was the head of a Hamas terrorist cell and advanced rocket attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops. Intelligence and documents from Gaza, including rosters, terrorist training lists and salary records, prove he was a Hamas operative integrated into Al Jazeera."

In Al-Sharif's case, this is not a new revelation.  The IDF disclosed his affiliation with Hamas in October, 2024.

Of course, sympathizers with Hamas will claim the underlying documents discovered in Gaza are forgeries.  This isn't an issue that can be resolved through posts on the Internet.

It's not unusual for people to have differing opinions when it comes to "evidence" of terrorism or even "ordinary" crimes.  That's why defendants are found innocent in jury trials and sometimes juries are "hung," resulting in a mistrial.

Keep in mind there are people who don't believe the Holocaust took place; that Al Qaeda wasn't responsible for 9/11; and Hamas fighters didn't commit atrocities on Oct. 7.   It's not surprising that certain individuals will reject evidence Al-Sharif was a Hamas operative.

So doubting the words of the IDF now equates to doubting the Holocaust.

Yes. Per the left, only Hamas is to be trusted.

OK to kill cameramen then.

It is NOT OK to kill anyone. Your post is at its usual abysmally low level.

As are yours.

So it would be OK if the IDF were to kill you and your family simply because somebody alleged that they are terrorist supporters. NO evidence is necessary.

Might is Right.

There is a reason why nearly 150 Nations are supportive of a Palestinian state and Israeli support is eroding by the day. It would not surprise me at all if the IDF actually targeted these journalists since the dissemination of truth and facts seem to be the opposite of Israeli government policy.

A false democracy? It would appear to be the case.

I dont doubt for one minute the IDF and the Shinbet had a shed load of info on these guys, maybe have a look at this video for information that crew,

They were credited journalists.

It’s for Israel to demonstrate they were members of Hamas.

Israel has provided the documentation. You have some of it shared  in this forum.

The accreditation was  given by Hamas. Yes, they were listed as employees of Al Jazeera. The  journalist who was holding hostages that were freed by Israeli commandos was also an accredited journalist.

perhaps you should address the  discrepancy and disagreements between all the "expert's and special interests.

As of August 11, 2025, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) says at least 186 journalists have been killed since the start of Israel's military offensive in Gaza in October 2023. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cq688qz3rlro.

The UN say 242 journalists have been killed in Gaza since the war began.

That's a difference of 56 people. Do you think that maybe  some of the journalism groups recognize that a large number of people claiming to be journalists are not? Why do you think there is a discrepancy? Why isn't anyone asking about that?

Are you denying that Hamas uses journalism positions as cover for its operatives?

The bias of many people who will insist that Israel is targeting journalists does not surprise me.

In the 1990s, an ABC TV "Correspondent" in Israel was a former IDF member. And for years, decades, to get foreign journalist accreditation, the US networks sent only Jewish American journalists. Because, you know, they weren't biased or anything like that... and they could blend in better - go to, and participate in, bar mitzvahs and such. Befriend and hang out with Knesset politicians and their families - kind of like 'stars'. The odd one is still around.

Journo slaughtered or Hamas operative taken out?

If it was not journalists killed why are a lot of countries condemning the killing? Because they all know the IDF ,yet again, has killed innocent civilians, cleared land that they took over, all contrary to the Geneva Convention, not that Israel is bothered about any law; they just do what they want to do.

In the mean time, in the West Bank Palestine's long time settlers are being attacked and basically kicked off they land they have owned for a lot of yeas, even more so since the conflict started, so more illegal homes can be built, again all illegal, all against ICJ ruling, are the Israelle's bothered, no they just do what they like again.

The conflict is not going to stop until Netanyahu's coalition  government with his very right-wing partners, all hell bent on destroying the Palestinian nation are somehow changed, and that is not going to happen soon, stalemate.

Well said.

In a speech on 10 August, Palestine's UN Ambassador Riyad Mansour urged the Security Council to send 100 journalists to Gaza to observe the situation.

During an emergency meeting, Ambassador Mansour challenged Benjamin Netanyahu's claims of a “global conspiracy” regarding events in Gaza.

Hours after his address, an Israeli airstrike targeted a tent housing journalists outside al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

Yeah. Hamas would much rather they  could have killed a hundred western “journalists” and blamed Israel, than getting their own agents killed while pretending to be journalists.

From 2023, Al-Sharif faced mounting threats from the IDF, including phone calls, voice messages, and social media campaigns,[17] which claimed that he was a Hamas operative.[8][18]

Anas al-Sharif was born in the Jabalia camp in Gaza's north, the largest refugee camp and one of the most densely populated areas in the Gaza Strip.

During the 2008 war in Gaza, when Israel launched a widespread bombing campaign on the territory, an 11-year-old Anas al-Sharif was interviewed by Al Jazeera, and said he dreamt of being a reporter.

Sixteen years later — just months after Hamas launched its deadly attacks on Israel in October 2023, prompting a devastating Israeli military response in Gaza — he joined the broadcaster.

On 31 July 2025, UN Special Rapporteur Irene Khan condemned repeated threats and smear campaigns by the Israeli army against Al-Sharif, calling them dangerous attempts to silence his reporting on the war in Gaza. She highlighted how Al-Sharif, described as "the last surviving journalist of Al Jazeera in northern Gaza", had been accused without evidence of being a "Hamas terrorist", placing his life at serious risk.

Khan stressed that, while Israel bars international reporters from entering Gaza, it simultaneously targets and undermines local journalists, who serve as the world's "eyes" on atrocities.[23][24]

So it would appear I was correct, thanks.

The BBC understands Sharif worked for a Hamas media team in Gaza before the current conflict. In some of his social media posts before his death, the journalist can be heard criticising Hamas
