No, data isn't racist. It's the interpretation of that data in racist hands that causes the problem.

Washingto D.C. only has a 39% White population. It stands to reason that the majority in crime statistics are people of color.

Anyone looking at the data and thinking, 'Gee, they're criminals because they're black' is just racist.
