Yes they had it all sewn up quite nicely.

Apparently calling for throats to be slit while addressing a crowd in public is not encouraging violent disorder. 😃

It would seem so.

  • It was a trial and the jury acquitted him; blame the jury or inept prosecution rather than the justice system.

He was charged, remanded in custody, and, eventually, acquitted by a jury of his peers.  How is that two-tier justice?

  • If his ire had been directed at " Asylum seekers " instead of right wingers , you can be sure they would have thrown the book at him and given him at least 3 yrs .

Because the FaceBook posters were arrested, charged, tried and jailed within a week for unusually long sentences for less serious offenses.

But then, they were right wing critics of the government. Not Labour councillors.

This just cranks up the pressure cooker even more.

Swift action by the Government to put an end to escalating rioting across the country.

Well done Starmer.

Not when it's a Labour councillor.

A jury heard the evidence and acquitted the accused.

End of.

Acquitted by a Jury Jonny.

I know justice is a bitter pill for you to swallow.

I don't see any justice in this case.

Just as I have been saying on this forum for months.

It's so obvious you can predict it.

That’s not all you’ve been saying for months.

You’ve gone from he won’t be investigated, arrested, charged, the trial will be delayed/not happen, a deal will be done etc.

Now the trial has taken place in an open court and he has been acquitted by the jury you are left stroking your self stroked sullen grievance with nothing to back it up.

It’s not healthy Jonny, try to move on.

I actually predicted a conviction followed by a suspended sentence.

The fact they found him not guilty was more egregious than even I would have thought. I saw no way they could do that, he was literally caught on camera demanding throats be slit.

Still, on the bright side this is all money in the bank for Labour's opposition. I'm surprised you are enjoying watching them digging their own grave, I guess you learned nothing from watching the Biden/Harris's debacle unfold.
