We can all guess who gave these out on the thread, and all that is wrong with the forum, and anonymous emojis.  I make sure I show my disapproval of posts now.

Indeed.

For many years health care in the Pattaya area was dominated by private hospitals. There is a government hospital at Naklua and then fairly recently came the government hospital on Soi Bukhao, which I gather is not that keen on foreigners. Not surprising really, the Thais struggled for so long it probably gets mobbed.

In recent years the university hospital at Bang Saen has changed significantly with a new building for outpatients. Many may be unaware that for those that don't mind the travel it offers a good viable government alternative in respect of affordable health care. The surgeon that removed the BCC from my ear also attends at one of the private hospitals in Sri  Ratcha.

Unfortunately there is a malicious element on the forum that for some reason try and take topics on a different path creating arguments along the way. Ironic that it is a topic on health.
