Couple of right old moralists on here that must have got out of the wrong side this morning.

In saying that you should pop into one of the clinics mentioned above, get checked out &

swallow the bitter pill.

They will also check that no other STD (possibly more serious) has been picked up.

Do it ASAP for your own good

From internet:  Azithromycin is an antibiotic that can treat the sexually transmitted infection (STIs) chlamydia and some of its complications, such as urethritis and cervicitis. It may also help treat gonorrhea. STIs are infections that typically pass from one person to another through sexual contact.

goes on to say Doxycycline is best for an STD

maybe just call  a doc or tell the pharmacist. Taking the wrong medication could cause more harm than good. Just my opinion

good luck

50+years ago learned to go to the doc that bar girls all went to, they've seen it all and know exactly what to do and most likely will not get soaked on price..

I got the clap, well, claps once, from a bunch (20 maybe) of novice monks, sweeping the footie pitch, after a flight.

You will get "milked" by the doctor as he will need to squeeze your c*ck to express some discharge for analysis.

More than twice would be a date!

Not allowed to mention other forums, a rule about it, anyway the heavy handed mods there caused most interesting posters to leave so now like a library

Memorial Hospital.
Dr consult
Lab test for Gonorrhea & Chlamydia
Injection
Total costs 2300 baht

You could go to a small clinic, tell the dr you have been tested gonorrhea (at a lab; there are a few labs that only do testing - but be aware that there is at least 1 lab that couldn't detect those 2, while another lab sent it to BKK and detected both) and you might get an injection, total cost perhaps 500.
If you want to be sure regarding chlamydia, buy Azitrhomycine in a pharmacy (around 200 baht for a strip with 6 capsules). Take 4 in one time (1000mg).

Which lab didn't detect both? and which did?

The injection (probably ceftriaxone) is for Gonorrhoea only, which makes me wonder what you took for Chlamydia if tested positive?

I cannot mention this lab, due to the risk of being prosecuted for defamation.
I had a lot of discharge, but result of test was negative for both. They DID find some infection, but couldn't detect what it was. They simply used the wrong way of testing (the cheap way).
I said "this can't be. Next, they sent it to a lab in BKK --> 2x positive.

The injection was  ceftriaxone, indeed.
For Chlamydia azithromycine works great. Just one time 4 capsules, 4x500mg.

BTW:  trichomoniasis is also going around. Often no symptoms in men, but bad smell in lady. Take 4 tablets tinidazole, one time

I got the problems after a <deleted>.

I alway thought that if you tested positive for Gono, you were given the treatment for Chlam as well as a matter of course.

The clinics will mostly be able to tell if you have an infection.  Identifying if it is in fact Gonorfhea takes a NAAT test which many of the clinics cannot do.

Suggest 1000mg of Zithro then 2 a day Doxy for 7 to 10 days.

Avoid filthy sluts in future. And don't be stupid to avoid condoms

Usually but depends, he didn't say what meds he took for Chlamydia, only the injection which is for Gonorrhoea

You ask so friendly....
It is a lab that got a program 6, which uses Chlamydia AG test and for Gonorrhea Gram's stain, These tests are not reliable.

The Chlamydia antigen (Ag) test can be useful in certain clinical settings, but it is not as reliable as nucleic acid amplification tests (NAATs), which are considered the gold standard

Limitations of Gram’s Stain

  • Subjectivity: Interpretation depends heavily on technician skill and sample quality.

  • False negatives/positives: Damaged cells, poor staining technique, or mixed infections can lead to misclassification.

For Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, which are intercellular and often not visible on Gram stain, nucleic acid amplification tests (NAATs) or multiplex PCR are far more reliable.

You can use this lab, but ask for other program, with reliable tests
