People that cheered others being told exactly what they can eat, whining about vaccines that saved millions of lives 🤣

Priceless!

It was herd immunity that saved millions of lives. When was the last time you heard of your fellow pandemic frothers getting vaxed and boosted?

Herd immunity? Remember that? Although you will not have read about it here🤣

I also suggested you educate yourself.

Your brain, your choice not to.

Perhaps  obese people can extract calories from the air they breath

this certainly deserves  investigation.

Both corn oil and soybean oil are known to be extremely toxic as the flashpoint is very low, and the amount of saturated fats is huge. They are both very dangerous oils to consume.

I have no idea where you are getting your misinformation.  Both have high flashpoints, which is why they are commonly used for deep fat frying.

They both have relatively low amounts of saturated fat around about 12-15%. They are also rich in (healthy) polyunsaturated fats, 55-60%.

And they are most definitely neither "extremely toxic" nor "very dangerous oils to consume".

Herd immunity  pfff  what "anti-vax" nonsense

you can only get herd immunity from the vax...ohhh hold on ...😋

I’m all for looking at where the calories come from. Right back to the producers.

I too was shocked to read about the other school of thought suggesting seed oils are not so good for human consumption

but the explosion in their use does kind of correspond to the explosion in  allergies and obesity.

Pizza, McDonalds and KFC are staple foods in America. How can Junior change the cuisine of the President himself by telling people to eat healthy? It isn't going to work.

Producers of  ready made TV dinners ,Big Macs and fizzy soda drinks...come on  doesn't everyone know that  you should not be eating that stuff 24/7  ?

If not then there needs to be more education and a drive towards  cooking at home from scratch using fresh ingredients that you

(mostly) know what the heck is in them   perhaps instead of paying big pharma billions  they can subsides local farmers so they can provide cheap fresh produce and make everyone healthy again.

He can't.  Even when faced with death (as he now apparently is), there's absolutely no chance Trump will change his diet.

What about:  All doctors must learn to not take bribes from Big Drug companies, and refuse junkets to Resorts, paid for by pharmaceutical companies.

What about:  All doctors must learn about the proven effects of vastly over-prescribing psychotropic drugs to children, as well as adults.

What about: All doctors must learn to accept that the practice of medicine should not be a monopoly for a few, and that more doctors are needed in the economy so that adequate time is available during patient consultations.

What about:  Drug companies must charge no more for drugs than does the medical system on Taiwan.

And then, let the patient eat what he likes.

Maybe the diet should be adjusted back to what they were eating on Taiwan, pre-1985, when all Formosans were slim and trim, happy and healthy.

What about educating children?

As a child, anything with sugar in it was a rare treat for me.

In primary school, I still remember the graphic photos of normal vs. cirrhosed livers, illustrating what happens with alcohol abuse.

We now know a lot more about the causes of various ailments than we did back when I was growing up.

If we taught logic and reason, people like RFK would get nowhere near the levers of power.

Educate children in diet and lifestyle, and you'll need fewer doctors.

Even more importantly, do not warp their minds, very young children's minds, with powerful psychotropic drugs.

They are toxic for young children, because you are setting them up to be taking these drugs for many years.

Ridiculous, really.

The same could be said for religious instruction.

It is criminal to PHYSICALLY alter the chemistry of a child's brain using psychotropic drugs.

THIS is THE Difference.

Even in Germany, this is rarely done, or done in a much more benign way.

I hope and pray to the Lord that one day humankind will look back on religious indoctrination of children in the same way as (intelligent) people now look back on apartheid, racism, segregation, slavery.........

That is a good thing.  Can't wait to see all the usual suspect denounce it as "Bad!"

You may recall that during the "pandemic"  there where many calls for segregation and apartheid from supposedly intelligent people.

For sure but children get bombarded with all kinds of ads for basically junk food.

Mostly fat parents have fat children, kids are copycats and also they have no idea what they are eating.

All western countries need to have a good look at what they are doing to the population.

Another 20 years of this and 80% of the people will be overweight.

Any idea how much money obese people are costing society?

Food does not kill people, people do!

You can learn all about nutrition and what kinds of things you should or should not eat but that is just not good enough.

It is the food industry they should go after, all of the junk they add just for profit.

Get rid of all added sugar! A lot of people do not realize there are different kinds of sugar and do not recognize

that on the label,if they read a label at all.

Educating doctors about food will not help, teach young kids in school like they do in Japan.

Billions of dollars can be saved in health care if people would just care about their body a little bit more.

Ignorance is also a very big part of it,a lot of people still believe eating a lot of fat is a danger, totally wrong?

What worries me the most is that this is just another issue that is being politicized, food and health affects everyone

everyday and it should be a effort everyone gets behind.

Most people have no problem about getting their cars checked and serviced a few times per year but do nothing

for their bodies until they fall down.

More awareness and less eating people, you only have one body.

For most people two meals a day is plenty but if you tell them that they look at you in panic!

I still eat 3 meals a day, but half of my evening meal is the next days lunch. For breakfast I eat 2 bananas some fruit and a yoghurt. Apart from osteo-arthritis in both knees, I am still fairly healthy.

Rather than listening to ignoramuses like Trump and JFK Jr, I listen to what my body tells me. After all we have been together for 81 years now, and I think that my body knows more about me than either of them.

I might be going back to 2 meals.

3 is convenient in some ways, but I just can't get to my desired body weight with 3.

But some people don't gain weight as easily, and for them 3 might be better.

Because it's better to spread out the protein during the day.

But for me, it doesn't seem to be working.

Listen to your own body and watch the waistline.

There is no one size fits all for everyone. You need to experiment and see what works for you.

But one meal, no way.

On that subject, one thing that brought this home to me just a day or so ago was when I saw footage of the school shooting in the USA and it showed the cops at the scene and I was amazed that about 80% of them were what we would call a "lardarse", and that scene is repeated in just about every piece of footage on everyday American life.

What on earth are these people eating to get like that? And answering my own question, the portion size is part of the problem and fast food and unhealthy meals are another major part.

Just an aside, some posters have posited that red meat is a major culprit, and perhaps it is in one respect, however take a look at the almost 100% meat menu of the South American gaucho, who lives almost exclusively on beef and sheepmeat for most of his life – – and the average life expectancy of one of these folks is around 76 years! Food for thought as they say!

PS. Trump is also a "lardarse" and he sets a bad example with his diet!!

70% of Americans are overweight already.

Processed carbohydrates are the cornerstone of supermarkets and fast food outlets. They are up to 60% of our food intake.

Obese people cost airlines more in fuel. An acquaintance of mine became a millionaire, by building bariatric beds and wheelchairs for hospitals.

What size budget do you think should be assigned to such an education program and how do you think it compares to the advertising budgets of fast food and processed goods corporations?

Just withhold funding to medical schools that don't comply. That's what the left did/does.
