Not working just because there is a child does not happen here except with foreigner and Thai marriages. The difference is the Thai woman will go off to work and leave the child with her mother and father. With the foreigner husband home and not working she could just as easily leave the child with him. 

With all 3 of my kids. My wife got maternity leave from work for a few months. Then i was the stay at home daddy taking care of them. Her career is more important than your retirement.

Hmph... My wife makes more than me in her work. But what i give her is my business. I most certainly do not pay her for being my wife. We share in everything, including money and savings. We work together to make a better life for our children. As it should be in a marriage. Ohh. my wife never worked at a bar or massage place though. Her family is rich and never asked money from us either. I guess it depends on the type of woman you married and her reason to marry you, the foreigner. Although, i think if she did it to get a monthly stipend and live free with you, then the marriage was made for the wrong reasons and eventually will end up in divorce.

Maybe I am strange but I think most men wouldn’t want the mothers of their children to go back to the bar.

My wife's investing has earned millions of THB.  She didn't need my finances before we met, and certainly doesn't need them now.   Always been completely self sufficient, and can leave anytime she wants.

 

Sometimes I wonder why she puts up with me.  I'm a tough nut to live with 😎

 

First Thai wife was with me for money, mostly    Although I was only 45 then, and looking 35, and dated women that young in the USA.   So not much difference there, even though large age gap.  Short lived marriage, less than 1 year, as didn't have nothing in common except sex.   Strangely, not enough.

Never did dating sites.  Did Yahoo chat, when that was a thing. 80s/90s, and only the 'looking for sex' chat rooms, so can't comment of dating rooms or sites back then.   Dating locally was never a problem, meeting and having fun.   Though most short lived, or simply one night stand from bars/clubs.

 

Used Yahoo chat for out of town hook ups.   Working for airlines, used the hell out of the flight benefits.   Chit chat it up with like minded person, in one of the cities we flew to, then hop over and see them.   If lunch or dinner turned out really well, didn't even need a hotel most times, and get a tour guide for couple days 

 

Only got burned once, as never showed up at airport to pick me up.  And it was late at night in bumFucck nowhere    No public trans at airport, and one of the only times I arrived late at night, lesson learned.

You should seek psychological assistance as you obviously have obsessions regarding those of us married to Thai women.  If in Chiang Mai, you should consider checking yourself into Suan Prung Hospital for observation and mental health counseling. 

Well..im looking at Maury,,steve wilkos and jerry springer tv-shows.Girls on stage come and claiming that a guy is the father or their kids.Wery often the DNA shove that the guy is NOT the father.Some girls on these shows for 5-10 DNA testing and still not find the father of the kids.Seems like the girls from the hood f.. around like rabbits.20 dollar or a hamburger is enough for spred the legs.No moral at all.Some girls f..with the bf family members..some guys f..the gf sister.. cousin or even the mother in law.So it tells me that US girls/guys specially from the hood dont have any kind of moral.
