Many of the parks have machine use for free.  So, go for a long walk and use the freebies.

It really depends on the gym and what it offers. Is it a low end gym with just weights or is it a high end gym wtih new equipment, showers, a sauna and a pool.  Low end gyms might be 100 baht for a day pass. I have seen high end gyms charge up to 500 to 600 baht for a day. For this kind of money you will even get a  towel and water.  One of the expensive gyms is the Virgin Active chain and the second is the Jetts chain.  Both are on the high or higher end.  There are many options in LOS for gyms based upon what one is willing to spend. My last gym that I belonged to in Southern California was $320 per year and it had all the ammenities but I had been a member for 20 years and got the long time member rate. New members were charged much higher.  Only real complaint about gyms in CNX is they tend to open late for my taste.  Back in Southern California many gyms opened at 0500 for us early risers. Here in CNX a gym opening at 0700 is considered really early.

Walk down to the ocean, then turn left or right and you have a kilometers long beach walk. Again I question your ability to function as a human.

There's an outdoor gym top of Pratumnak, next to the weather station, opposite Royal Cliff, FREE

Nice view of the Bali Hai ghost tower.

Royal Cliff has a great gym the public can use, not sure how much, I haven't been there since covid

There's a few near me 1,000 a month, and 7,000.a year...

Municipal stadiums usually have a weight room for public use.

Chiang Mai and Bangkok charged 40 baht/day.

Pattaya have a stadium?

My health insurance gives me free membership at my gym

Try broadening your search beyond gyms that have the phrase “Elite” in them… :coffee1:

Useless if you want to maintain good form and physics

A gym offer freeweights and machines, tempered environment, possibilities for social contacts, and also other facilities for those who wants sauna, swimmingpool, tennis courts, cold plounges, with more, all depending what you are willing to pay.

Those park installations is just a scam at its bests if they where ment to invest in peoples health, you just better walk, make pull-ups, push ups, and squats instead, and basic yoga exercises on your own.
