Front wheel Aerox 155 leak?

Featured Replies

Once per week I have to fill up air in my front wheel.

Any experts here on how to fix.

Check the rim for dents if there is a tubeless tire, check or replace your valve, check for a pin in the tire, change the tube if there is one, and also a new tire if necessary, and the best thing to do, is to take the bike to a garage and have them look at it.

Put the bike on centre stand, put front wheel in a big bowl of water, turn wheel to see the air leaks, or put some soapy water in a spray bottle and go round the rim and tyre.

Go to Mr. DIY buy a can of tire foam. Go to a PTT gas station. Infront of the tire inflation pump let all the air out of the tire. Inflate the tire with the aerosol can. Then use the air hose to inflate the tire to 29psi. Bingo.

Yes, I was thinking about that.

Tried Lazada but only found tire foam for cleaning tires.

It is a mess, and if there is a reason, better look for it before you fill it up with a can of that stuff which should only be used in emergency while traveling and no other option available

Talked to a friend that worked on tire shop in Sweden, he recommended not to do it.

the foam can make a mess and make the tire wobble

Anything motorcycle tires in Patty:

Take it to iMoto on Sukumvit.

Seriously.

Best in the land.

Good prices.

I had similar problem years ago, they couldn't find any leak with usual water/soap etc., tubeless alloy wheel, but old bike.

One day the guy who was checking decided to losen the outer valve nut, it looked old, then spray some WD40, then tighten it again, as hard it went. That tire never leaked again....!!! ?

It sometimes not leaking if the bike standing (or being checked), only does it under load and when running... 🙄

Hard to say if it leaks when running but it does when standing still, as I said it takes a week before I need to fill

Clean my bike before i go, it's like brush your teeth before your teeth dentist.

IMoto is very professional, they do motorbike tires as pro.

Took my my front wheel of maximum pressure and put in a tank.

Can't see any problem he said but then I noticed a tiny bubble and he saw it.

Took off the tire and checked for rim damages ,clean the rim and tire.

Very professional, this is the place to go for motorbike tires

180 baht +20 baht tip

Boss was there, gave me a politely nod, my aerox 155 is nodded in red so much I don't know any extra.

Take it to a decent garage ! They will figure it out for you. Shouldn’t be to difficult because it is a tubeless. It is either the tire, the rim, or the valve

I agree , small spray bottle with soapy water will show you where its leaking.

Then when foud the puncture , put a smal sticker on the rim and go to a mechanic , have them put a plug in it or let them steam the tire.

Had a same problem with an NMax but it was leaking from the rim side , Maxis cartire shop  did a great job cleaning the rim and put the tire back on for only 200 baht.

if it's a very slow leak, i would first replace the valve with a good quality or original as the valve rubber sleeve can and do leak..worth a try!

Fixed it at iMoto on suk, Pattaya.

180 baht

First how old is the tire?  Regardless it is simple get a bucket of water sponge soap, put it on the stand, key in turn to allow handle bar to turn to side. Slowly rotate your tire if lucky you will see a nail, etc that is causing the problem if not now take bucket of water and spray bottle with soap slowly rotating tire spraying if area starts to bubble that is the location of problem mark it. As noted spray the stem they go bad too if that needs to take to shop.

Your bike is standard alloy tubeless!

Go to DYI get a 45 baht kit to fix flat forget the foam!  This kit includes two T-bars with sharp ends one at the end has a hole at the tip, includes 4 wax bars and tube of glue.l read follow instructions!

While there get a good hand pump 275.

I got a kit for every vehicle and bike they are life savers!  Once you do one leak it is real easy.

Not using machine for replacing tires could cause this leak problem from around wheels.
