Charlie Kirk - Show me

Featured Replies

Can someone point me to a single video showing Charlie Kirk being "hateful"? or "racist"?

Not him saying something you don't like or agree with, but hateful.
Every single quote of his I've seen from liberals has been chopped up, re arranged or flat out changed from what he said

His comment on Empathy is just one

Remember kids -

Being confrontational is NOT hate.

AGAIN - Partial quotes don't count, things posted out of context, doesn't count. Your feelings don't count.

I know this will be a real struggle so do your best

Here's an example of a false claim that had to be corrected:

NYT Forced To Issue Correction After Making Egregiously False Claim About Charlie Kirk

The New York Times issued a correction on Thursday after falsely accusing Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk of making an antisemitic claim on his podcast.

The Times falsely accused Kirk of stating on his podcast in 2023 that Jewish communities are “pushing the exact kind of hatred against whites” that they want people to stop using against them. However, Kirk cited a tweet making that claim and critiqued it, causing the Times’ correction to be made.

As a cousin from across the pond until he died a few days ago I'd never heard of the bloke, after the assassination and seeing the thread on here that has gone on and on after his death, 45 pages to date, I had a goggle of some of his quotes and my take was he was a "gob<deleted>e American" loud, proud and over there so had no effect on my life whatsoever.

I don't agree with him on some things and I don't claim he had any effect on your life.

But he did engage across the pond like he did here.  Take from it what you will, or don't.

The mental lunacy of the extremest left’s definition of hate is simply just any disagreement they have with anyone with an opposing viewpoint, they even eat their own. It’s an antisocial mental illness.

Charlie's error was forgetting the late, great Charles Krauthammer's wisdom;

"Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil".

Add that to the idiocy of the "words are violence" crowd and the result was inevitable.

This thread is how old and not a single one of them have provided a single thing.
Any other thread and they are puking all over it with made up garbage and distorted truths within seconds.
Ask for facts that are easy to verify and its nothing but silence.
Pretty telling since if Facts were on their side ................

At the risk of triggering the usual suspects, and aware I am joining in what is a fairly unsubtle and obvious attempt to pick a fight: to suggest that a certain number of deaths is acceptable to allow for the Second Amendment (a statement I believe Mr Kirk made publicly on more than one occasion) is pretty hateful, particularly to those whose children have been shot dead lin their classrooms.

And no, before the howling starts, I am not suggesting that he should have been shot by a sniper for saying that.

It's a reasonable position. Much the same way that we accept a reasonable number of road accidents/deaths in order to use automobiles

But by and large, Charlie's "thing" was engaging students and inviting debate/conversation. The fact that he was shot at a university, a place where discussion and debate are almost sacraments, makes the crime even more hideous.

I am listening with skepticism to the mainstream media talking about cooling the rhetoric "on both sides". What utter crap.  There is only one side that is derided as fascists. Only one side that is tied to Nazis, compared to Hitler, called an existential threat to democracy.  That level of invective is literally an invitation to violence.

Not hateful, just a reality.  People have right to protect themselves, and nobody should take that right away.   Seems the people that want to take that right away, have armed security.  Go figure.

FBI stats state most murders are committed by people they know.  Google it.

I'm going to take guess, that more deaths have been prevented, by people protecting themselves with a firearm, then 'random' shooting deaths.

Take away the gang bangers, turf wars, criminals killing criminals or criminals using firearms while committing crimes, and the suicides, and death by firearms drops dramatically.

Cars kill, but we tolerate the death & injury rate, for convenience.

Cigs kill, but we tolerate the death rate for profits & taxes.

Alcohol kills and destroys lives, but we tolerate the death and misery rate, again for profit & taxes.

None of those are necessary, and public trans & 15 minute cities, negate the need for personal transport vehicles.  Air travel / plane crashes are not necessary, yet tolerated, for convenience & profits.

Firearms, unfortunately have a real purpose, for people to protect themselves from evil.  That's a reality.  Evil people kill people with firearms.  A firearm has never been convicted of murder.

People are evil, not firearms.   Only way to stop random killing with firearms, is to stop the manufacturing of them ... worldwide.   That is a solution.  Never going to happen, to much profit for evil people.

So simply accept the fact, firearms are a necessity for some people, especially in the USA.

In the USA, the majority of people want the right to protect themselves, or the 2nd Amendment would be changed.   Reality is, that's an undisputable fact, so save your silly polls.  That's how a Constitutional Republic works.

Other countries, do what you want, we don't care, it's your country.  I don't tell you how to run yours, so don't bother suggesting how to run ours.

If you're a Yank, and don't like the 2nd Amendment, then know who you are voting for, and vote accordingly.   Good luck with that one.

Have a nice day.

Thanks for the links, having spent the last 4 hours watching those videos, and a few others I feel I have a better understanding of him, may he rest in peace.

Like you, I disagree with a lot of what he says, I have no problem with him saying what he did, the same as anyone who disagrees with him shouldn't have a problem with him saying it, freedom of speech is a fundamental right.

True, but if your employer doesn't like what you say you will need to find another job.......odd kind of freedom?

Never had that problem, even after 30 odd years with the same company doing the same job, the MD would always ask for opinions of the workforce before implementing any changes to employment contracts, 30 employees when I joined, over 1200 when I retired.

Is that hateful enough for you? 🤣

"In a video released Monday by Right Wing Watch, Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk calls transgender people a “throbbing middle finger to God” and “an abomination.” He follows up by deadnaming University of Pennsylvania transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, stating, “you’re an abomination to God.” Kirk, an influential conservative who runs Turning Point USA, has previously made statements that could be interpreted to promote violence towards transgender people, such as the time he called for transgender people to be “taken care of” like men did in the “1950s and 60s.”...

(In the 1950s and 1960s, transgender people and other LGBTs in the United States faced systemic discrimination, criminalization, and medical pathologization.)

Nothing he said wasn't true or factual. Not a single thing

If the truth hurts you only because of the way it was delivered and not because its actually true, theres no helping you.

It's clear you don't understand what true or factual means. Here's that quote from Kirk again

"I blame the decline of American men. This never should've been -- someone should've just took care of it the way we used to take care of things in the 1950s or 60s"

It's not a statement of fact. He's saying what men should do. And what they should do is to take "care of it the way we used to take care of things in the 1950s or 60s"

Do you think he's recommending Bible study?

So what. How does that possibly hurt anyone. They're just words.
You're assuming he meant something that he didn't say.

I thought he was talking about whooping someone backside, why would you think the worst ? We all know what you're implying. Be a big boy and show us just how vile your thoughts are.

Why would you think recommending an physical assault on someone for being transexual is not hateful?
