Police are investigating the death of a woman who fell from the second floor of a parking garage at a shopping mall in Bangkok’s Ladprao district. The incident occurred on 16 September at around 18.50, with foundation volunteers performing CPR at the scene. Despite their efforts, the woman, estimated to be aged between 45 and 50, was pronounced dead at hospital at 20.00.

Initial reports confirmed that the fall took place at the rear entrance of the mall. Witnesses stated they had earlier walked past the spot and saw nothing unusual, but later returned to find the woman lying on the ground with her bag still slung over her shoulder. No visible blood was detected, leading some bystanders to first assume she had fainted before authorities confirmed the fall.

Police from Phahonyothin Station are now reviewing CCTV footage from the car park and surrounding areas to determine the circumstances leading to the fall. The woman’s identity has not yet been established, and officers are working to confirm her details. The body has been transferred to the Police Hospital for an autopsy to assist the investigation.

The incident has raised safety concerns about high-rise parking structures in busy shopping districts. Authorities have not released further information regarding the mall where the incident occurred. Additional witness statements and forensic analysis will be key to understanding whether foul play, accident or other factors were involved.

Police investigations remain ongoing. The findings from CCTV footage and medical examination will help clarify the sequence of events. Officials are urging anyone with further information to contact investigators at Phahonyothin Station.
