So, what I am wondering is this....   Should I catch the next plane form Chiang Mai, before it's to late....   To land in Pattaya....   And, before I die.....

It’s a very good topic.
Do you get grumpier over 70?

I want to live to 75, should hopefully be able to still golf and will have had my moneys worth from pensions[8 years]!
men rapidly go downhill after 75. Look at Roger Daltrey who sang he wanted to die before he got old. Look at Bob Dylan., he’s younger than that now.

No, my wife does She is 56

For those over 70, do you still need sex, that must be a drag if you do.

Wow a bit of an age difference, same age as mine. 12 years between my wife and I.

Living past the age of 70 is definitely NOT worth it.

For once you wrote something that makes sense. Praise where praise is due.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, you can't take your brain with you.

I'm quite happy with my brain, even it indeed gave me some challenges when younger

Maybe you have dementia

A  year after I went into my 70's I noticed for the first time the change.

I was hiking Monks trail when three Japanese girls went past me going down.

I had not ever been passed by on a hike by a female.

That was the beginning to the new

So, 22 years ago, you married a woman nearly half your age.

And, it is only recently that you have discovered she is grumpy???

I'm 3 years and counting past 70 and still enjoying life.  Dear old Dad lived into his 95th year, sane, interested, and engaged in life right till the end.  Hoping for the same.

And I hope your dad's longevity genes have been passed onto you.👍

I am 69.5, walk a few miles a day around a reservoir in Phuket, cycling as well,  I feel fit and healthy.

My brain is still put to use writing iPhone apps, has not deteriorated, may things carry on that way for a long time to come.

It's OK to write and sell iPhone apps to others.

Just do not buy them yourself, of course.

Why would I need to buy my own apps which I have written, I already own them?

Do you make cheese on toast and then sell it to yourself before you can eat it? 😄
