What would happen if Israel lost America’s support?

It's more dangerous now because Oracle will be hosting and serving the US Tik-Tok it will have power over the user data and influence of what can be seen  what is promoted and what is suppressed, control of the algorithm.

At least when China owned it they could only really  use the data to suppress their own people (which is bad) now the US/ Israel will have a perfect tool to influence the views of the younger generation

not to mention the other media outlets mentioned in the article which will no doubt be spouting pro Israel propaganda too.

Many Muslims across the Middle East will be pleased to see the elimination of the extremist terror group Hamas .

Not surprising when it was created and supported by Israel to scupper the PLO.

Great article. I do not see any dangers about Ellison part owning Tik Tok. This whole notion that TikTok was dangerous was always a bit overblown surely.

I'm surprised you don't see the problem. For one thing, Tiktok strictly enforces a rule that equate harsh criticism of Israel with anti-semitism.

"Erica Mindel is an American-Israeli Jewish former IDF soldier,[1] currently serving as Public Policy Manager of Hate Speech at TikTok since July 2025[2][3]"

"In 2017, Ellison donated $16.6 million to the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF).[77][78] According to reports in 2019, Ellison has contributed to funding an archaeological excavation project in East Jerusalem that received criticism from Palestinians as well as Israeli peace activists and some archaeologists...] It was also revealed in 2021 that Ellison offered Netanyahu a post at Oracle.[87]"

Yes, he's pro Israel for obvious reasons, but even the mainstream media panders to Israel, as indeed to most governments, hardly world changing.

Kinda like Ukraine?ehh?Israel has certainly lost the moral high ground with the continued slaughter of the Palestinian civilians no doubt about that and their reserves of good will are eroding fast.hopefully it will stop soon it’s a horrific situation brought on by hammas.

I don't think the horrific situation in the West Bank can be blamed on Hamas. That's been ongoing and getting worse since 1967.

I understand and agree that hammas is the fruit of the mistreatment of the Palestinians at the hands of the Israelis that being said in my view what hammas did is unconscionable they need to be rubbed out.Its the only way Israel will stop.

Why do you think Israel will stop. It's mistreatment of the Palestinians on the West Bank predates the existence of Hamas. Do you think that most Israelis feel much, if any sympathy for the Palestinians?

Survey Shows ‘Complete Collapse’ of Israeli Left Since Oct. 7

"Nearly nine months after Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror attack, the Jewish state’s political divisions have reemerged, with protests criticizing the government for various and often opposing reasons breaking out across the country.

But a sweeping new public opinion survey by pollsters affiliated with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem has revealed how the Oct. 7 attack on Israel solidified a national consensus on what used to be the country’s main political disagreement. When it comes to the Palestinians, the survey found, almost everyone is a right-winger now."

   That isn't true .

Hamas were formed by Ahmed Yassin in 1987 , and have their roots in the Muslim brotherhood .

Hamas were NOT created by Israel .

(There's no need for anyone to post that link once again , the link about Netanyahu propping up Hamas)

(There's already  thread about that link )

So do you think Netanyahu bears any responsibility for his support of Hamas?

Do you think Netanyahu is currently supporting Hamas? If so, how?

Do you think that aid that is sent to Palestine is not supporting Hamas?

Israel supported Hamas when Hamas opposed Israel's biggest threat , Arafat and the PLO .

Israel and the Hamas had a common enemy , the PLO .

Would the PLO have been more or less violent and problematic if they had ruled Gaza (instead of Hamas) .

   No one knows

Wasnt that mooted about 90 years ago - I seem to remember reading Madagascar was the chosen option!

In the end they damn near exterminated them - probably easier. Funny that seems to be the preferred option of the "from the river to the sea brigade"!

Netanyahu, who is not Israel, supported Hamas in an attempt to prevent the attainment of Palestinian statehood.

Let’s not pretend otherwise or we’ll have to post that link you don’t like seeing that provides the facts of the matter.

Its not that I don't like the link, its just that numerous people keep posting the link and all keep making the same points in numerous threads .

Isnt that link about 2 years old now and its been posted 47 times already

I seem to recall that there is a thread about that link , where it can be commented on

What would happen if Hamas surrenders?

Hezbulah would take its place, it s a never ending story with Hamas and Hezbulah.  Custer's last stand comes to mind, when all the tribes came together to defeat the USArmy.  If there is one thing that unites the Arabs, it’s the possibility of war with israel.
