McCabe hasn't been contacted in Comey's probe, and here's the reason! 🤣

All I can say to that, Jake, is I’m not aware of Jim Comey ever authorizing some other person to leak information. That’s not something I experienced personally. It’s not something I saw in all the time I spent working around Jim Comey,” McCabe said, when asked whether he thinks Comey was being honest when he said he never authorized a leak.

“So I can’t sit here and characterize his testimony — which I think is far from clear enough to be the basis of a false statement or perjury prosecution — but nevertheless, all I can say is what my own experience revealed, and that is, I didn’t ever see

This is comical.

What has this got to do with the respective validity of the actual evidence in the case against Trump and the case against Comey?

That's all he has! 😆

There are legitimate doubts whether the prosecutor was appointed legally.

"The FBI is weighing an arrest and perp walk for Comey — and suspended an agent for refusing to help"

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/fbi-arrest-perp-walk-james-comey-suspended-agent-refusing-doj-trump

"The FBI is considering carrying out a "showy" arrest and perp walk of the agency's now-indicted ex-Director James Comey, and has suspended an agent who refused to participate in the plan, three sources familiar with the matter told CBS News.

The source told CBS News that leadership asked for "large, beefy" agents to conduct an arrest of Comey "in full kit," including Kevlar vests and exterior wear emblazoned with the FBI logo. It was suggested that Chris Ray, a supervisory special agent in the violent crimes division of the FBI's Washington Field Office, would be able to put together the kinds of agents who fit the bill, the source said.Ray refused to participate in this plan, believing it would be inappropriate and highly unusual for a white-collar defendant like Comey, according to the source. He was then suspended for insubordination."

NB Comey arraignment scheduled 09 OCT. His principal attorney was approved by court 29 SEP.

AI quickie:

Federal pre-arraignment motions are legal requests filed before a defendant's first court appearance (arraignment) to address immediate issues, such as a request for a preliminary hearing or to seek dismissal of charges before they are formally filed. These motions, filed under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, are less common than post-arraignment pre-trial motions and are used to address urgent matters before formal charges are laid, like preventing immediate detention or resolving jurisdiction

This won't go to trial and that's what happens when you surround yourself with sniveling spitlickers instead of professionals.

George Conway: Comey indictment ‘invalid’

https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/5535386-george-conway-comey-indictment-invalid

"Lindsey Halligan, interim U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, was assigned to oversee the case and originally signed the indictment documents, but Conway says the law doesn’t allow for her to retroactively bring charges against Comey. “I mean, there’s another method by which they could put in an acting U.S. attorney, but that person has to be already Senate-confirmed and already in the Justice Department. And Lindsey Halligan was neither."

Too late for that, the statute of limitations has expired.

Interesting, as the charges seem to be concerning leaks about the Clinton emails investigation! 🤣

He's totally lost it. Hopefully the demented convict can be transferred to an assisted living facility in the near future.

Not really! Most MAGA sheeple likely believe the leaks investigated were about Trump!

Not sure it's been covered in the the thread, but Patel wanted heavies to go in, full kit, inform the press and perform a 'perp walk'.

An FBI agent refused and was fired.

Looks  like he has PACO'd on the idea now.

Hard to figure out what they believe as there really is no reason or logic behind it. It all seems so ad hoc.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILE MOTION ON UNLAWFUL APPOINTMENT

Please take notice that on October 20, 2025, James Comey, by counsel, will
file his motion to dismiss challenging the lawfulness of the appointment of the
United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/judge-sides-comey-fight-over-protected-discovery-materials

Comey seeks to toss criminal case calling Trump prosecutor 'unlawful' appointee
Halligan, for her part, has doubled down in defending the legitimacy of the case against Comey

So... one tier justice system means now they're going to also charge current administration officials such as Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, RFK Jr, and Kristi Noem for lying to Congress also? And don't forget the chief justices who said that Roe v Wade was considered settled case law, among other lies. What's good for the goose....

I'm pretty confident Trump will pardon/commute any sentences if Comey, James, Bolton receive sentences.

He has a history of pardoning people for much lesser crimes......do you think?
