September 29, 2025Sep 29 If having to endure overnighting there, then the Pullman KK Raja Orchid, comfy an inexpensive enough, w/brew house in lobby, an decent suds. Used to stay there, when Sofitel, nice buffet, when US Embassy was in town. Can't imagine much changed with Pullman managing. Only reason to go to KK is if you have cardiac issues, or pop into GreenLeaf (16.455738, 102.784875) for a munch After that, keep going west on hwy 12, as nice scenic ride, through the parks, over to Phitsanulok, though not really KK any more. Or hang a left at 2466 and head to hills of Khao Kho for a few nights 👍 👍

I used to go to the Embassy outreach at the Sofitel then Pullman -- both brands managed by Accor who for years also owned Motel6. I guess I never noticed you without your drone hat.
