September 30, 2025Sep 30 We got 6 kms of surfside here, Ao Prachuap. Mentioned, Ao Manao just down the road. Over the years, I think I've eaten at more surfside, beachside restaurants than non, since my favorite past time was diving and water sports. E. Coast USA, S. FL / Keys, Caribbean, Mexica, and a good portion of TH.

Obviously I have slowed up somewhat as I'm now in my late 70s, however I don't think I could ever relive or match the adventures and experiences I had when I was younger. Playing football at a semiprofessional level was wonderful for me, then going overseas to work in the Sahara desert for an oil company and after that, going to Nigeria just after the Biafran war and working there and experiencing all the adventures that those two jobs offered up. Off to Libya again in 1975 with more adventure and experiences before heading to offshore Norway to work on an oil platform – – all of the above came with a 4 to 6 weeks working and 2 to 3 weeks holiday, so I really found time to enjoy myself, especially with the money I earned! Life was brilliant and I was still able to play football back in my home town (when I got home). Wonderful jobs and then migrating to New Zealand where the challenges and adventures were also great. Ended up as Vice President/director of sales and marketing for American Express which was a wonderful experience and bought many, many perks with it. Retrained as an investment adviser and financial planner and eventually got a great position with a major NZ bank and became Chief Manager of Investments, eventually managing just under $2 billion of funds, from a seed capital of $100,000. All of those wonderful jobs meant I could travel, afford anything I wanted and also enjoy myself, which I did, until the last job proved very stressful, so I took early retirement and moved to Thailand. Now I do nothing much at all apart from seeking out good wines and restaurants and spending far too much time on the computer, apart from visiting my beautiful daughter who lives in Phuket town. I don't think anything could be better than those days/years and experiences, so I don't yearn after them any more, now I just take every day as it comes, and something I didn't think I could ever do – – I have learned to relax! In summary nowhere near better but more relaxing

We where born in the ages we could became what ever we wanted if we had the ability to take advantages of the possibilities in front of us.

Nothing wrong with that, except your might influence some guys on here to get another divorce. LOL.
