Is it just for a router?

Presumably you mean a Uninterupted Power Supply

Suggest you search Lazada, available around 1500bt

You have to know the load requirement before you can select a UPS

I have an 800 VA / 400 W model from Advice (house brand).

Have PC, monitor and some small stuff connected.

Short glitches covered well.

Enough for a proper save and shutdown in case of blackout.

Downstairs I have a separate UPS for the router, smaller and cheaper.

Smallest is good enough for router only.

A problem with the cheap ones: they don't show the battery status well.

So after a year or so it can happen that it holds power only for seconds.

Have exchanged batteries twice, but not logged (2 years?).

Sorry, It is for Router and Laptop.  I have been using Zircon from Lazada, but battery life is very poor.

I have a Schneider UPS BV6501-MS 375W that works great for my computer, router, and monitor.

What is the point of using a UPS for the laptop?

Maybe the battery is too old and won't hold it's charge, so the battery charger is permently connected.

That's why I asked. Unless the laptop battery is completely worn out, plugging it into a UPS makes little sense.

Giving it some thought, if the laptop has a good battery, one could just use a USB powered router and be done with it.

So get a new battery.
