Would we had any taste buds if we only digested air? 😉

No, which is why I thank God for taste buds, and steak, burgers, swordfish, sushi, nuts, fruits, veggies, pizza, et al

Agreed. It would be better by far.

Presumably you find Bangkok air fulfilling, it certainly appears to be sustainable

Since retiring here in 1993, and dividing time equally between our houses in Bangkok and Rayong, now 84 years old and so far so good.

Well done Sir, hope to do the same, because at that age I truly hope I have settled one place or another and do not travel back and forth to Norway anymore.

Wishing you all the best whichever place you decide upon.

Oh come on, they come up short of 30 feet. That's not very large. Seriously though, I remember this offer from when I was a kid. The Reticulated Python was the number one contender to win the prize:

The New York Zoological Society (now the Wildlife Conservation Society) no longer offers a reward for a 30-foot python. While it did for many years, starting with a reward from Theodore Roosevelt in the early 1900s and increasing to a final offer of $50,000, the offer was rescinded in 2025. The offer is no longer valid because no one ever claimed it and the capture of such large snakes is now considered unlikely.

That is the exception not the norm

It's not even the exception. A 30 foot snake was never found. It is the norm that, among snakes, retic's grow the longest, and anacondas grow the heaviest. Burmese/Indian pythons are somewhere there in the middle.
