Since tomorrow is October 23rd, will the night venues on Walking Street be closed or open as usual? Thank you.

Since it's not a religous holiday the bars etc wouldn't be closed anyway, but in Pattaya that restriction no longer exists even on the religous days.

Immigration may be closed?

But restrictions apply in BangLamung, one hand doesn't know what the other decide.

Banglamung is not defined as an entertainment area but Pattaya is and that's what allows them to open.

Pattaya city is in BangLamung, it was closed last election

Government said OK, Pattaya can serve but not BangLamung, guess what, everything was closed

The only days the bars might close are religious days (Buddhist) and election days, today is neither. There are entertainment zones around Thailand where even those closures do not apply, Walking Street is in that group.

Entertainment open as usual everywhere in the country.

All main bank branches and all government offices incl immigration closed.

Wow! how much talk! It´s just a royal holiday, and everything regarding entertainment will be open. Even out in the sticks.

Is today a holiday?

Which one, this time?

I think I might have lost track of the days.

Note:  Does anyone know where I can find a very accurate calendar to show all of the holidays in Thailand?  There are many internet sites which purport to show all holidays, but they do not.

Note2:  Oh.  Now I know.  The internet is good for something, at least.

Guess what, an election is not a religious holiday, as that is what you were arguing about in your previous post, and last election bars were open in Pattaya.
