Well today was another lovely day. Hit the Old City with Phuket Girl and met with a fellow AN member for lunch, whilst she explored temples and shopping.

Then sampled more delights in the Old City.

Turns out Phuket Girl thinks a cow farm could make sense as she'll inherit a lot of land and cows are easy to take care of she thinks.

Maybe I'll become a cattle rancher in Si Sa Ket.

I don't hold it against her, perfectly normal, she's concerned if I'm writing to other girls, which is understandable.

Cows eats a lot, and most cattle farmers, do not feed them enough as you see when travelling around. A lot of work, and also constantly prevent them from diseases. We have sheeps, and the main problem is getting veterinarians to come and help, and if animals is sick, they are not willing to put them down, and basically you can not put them down either, unless they are slaughtered for food. Kind of complicated, and as you know Buddhists do not want to slaughter either, even they eat meat.

You need to know yourself, and be on top of it your self. Get used to be dirty. But it is an good idea if you are all in for it, and willing to dedicate your life to a farm.

Yah, I had a feeling the cattle farming is not as easy as she made it out to be. Her logic was that pigs had to be fed specifically, whereas cows feed themselves, you only have to check up on them.

Clearly a farm would be a lot of work.

What do you think is the minimum size for a farm? In square metres.

Sisaket you said? The only thing worth growing there is possible at her land, is Durian.

Net return pr rai can be up to 50k for a durian farm with the right quality. But again, it takes time to build, care, and also risk of theft.

In our area we start to make good money on Tamarind

I don't fancy Durian. Cattle is not an option?

If you have experience with animals, and hands on, and as well have a premium bull with great genetics for impregnating or AI selling sperm, you need to invest quite a bit.

But seriously there is no money in it for you just having a herd or cows it will be an expensive hobby. For a thai family who knows how to herd cattle’s, there will be money, but no it is not worth it for a newbie’s

if you invest in Thailand, you need to work for it, hard work, there is no easy money if you do not know the segment you invest in, and stay on top of everything and everyone involved. Investing in land is always good, but again, you have to trust your gf or coming wife.

And this is more just for the topic, because I do not think you seriously thinking of investing in her already, and if you do, dont. Simple as that, but there is many who do not listening, and falls for any good idea their gf´s have,

I bet you know better 😉

I dont think farming is for you if you are measuring it in square meters. Here they come by the rai. 🤣

Seems a bizarre thing to take from this thread. All women  expect resources in return for sexual accesss, surely this was common knowledge before this thread appeared?

However, very clearly the amount will vary depending on how closely she acted to a real prostitute. The further removed, ironically, the more money she will make, just read what poor richard is paying for his sexual access..

If she makes clear she was very obviously engaging in sex work, a minimal payment should suffice, whereaas if she is a loyal girlfriend, clearly the payment required will be rather higher. If she goes the distance and is a loyal wife the payments are through the roof.

Your theory is all women expect money in return for favours . I do not concur but let's go with that.

She's done the favours part. Yet the amount you will give will depend on whether she was loyal or not. Loyal? Does that mean hanging around when she isn't happy. What type of loyalty do you expect after a few weeks? What form would it take ? You have said it's favours for money with ALL women but now you want loyalty too.  Loyalty is such a loaded word.  People don't need to be loyal if they are happy being there in the first place and believe in who you are.

Based on this dubious theory of yours it seems she is on a hiding to nothing if she decides to leave.

I presume you will see that as a sign of lack of loyalty - and that she gets minimal payment - even though by your logic ALL women expect money for favours - so pay up.

Loyalty goes both ways .. she could be waiting to see that you are going to look after her.

In the end she may have simply tried something that failed. She may be sick of you controlling her. One minute on a pedestal as cute young thing or good country farm girl next minute Phuket tart.

Not sure totally of her motives but she gave you a few weeks of her life, and 'sexual access' as you so gallantly and charmingly put it,  so if she has had enough do the right thing and send her home well looked after.

Or you can take the cheap easy way and say - it can't be my fault -  she failed the loyalty test - and she gets 'minimal payment' as you put it.

Apparently her family already has some cows. She says a cow can sell for 1, 2 or 3 million baht, if it is top quality. Though apparently some epidemic has depressed prices at the moment.

It's planning long ahead of course.

Si Sa Ket is in Isaan where most of the bar girls come from, yet more proof Issan-Girl is a pro.

The next thing will be, build a house in the village, car, buy a few buffalo, pay for the parents and some other family members.

Five years down the road you will be sitting in a bar crying into your beer and will have joined the thousands of others now broke under the same circumstances I have heard about.

Most cows in Thailand I have seen are not much bigger than large dogs, I buy my beef from NZ or Australia.

Ever since a caveman figured out that he did not have to fight the stronger males but could offer the female some food in exchange for sexual access, the system of resources for sexual access has been adopted by all men. This is not a "theory" , certainly not my theory, it is a just a fact.  A universal fact actually, applicable since hundreds of thousands of years,  and in all countries, with extremely few exceptions. Whether you concur or not, is neither here nor there.

Obviously a loyal woman is worth considerable more than a disloyal one, in most cases, that's just an obvious fact. Everyone knows what loyalty is, what form it takes, and again, it has always been a requirement from men, for hundreds of thousands of years. The reason being if a man provides resources, but the woman then mates with someone else, the male has wasted his resources, so men very much expect loyalty.

3 hours ago, Fat is a type of crazy said:

This is a good point, and a valid one. If she is happy to be here, then she will be loyal, ie if she thinks she is getting the best possible "deal". Now, unfortuantely, with social media, women's value judgement on this can be impaired severely, as social media suggets constantly that a better deal can be had elsewhere. So she could become unhappy, and thus disloyal, even if she should be happy with what you provide because it is good. Her value judgment can be impaired.

Don't worry, I will make sure she gets home allright, if she decides to leave. However, sometimes you have to help her judge the situation correctly by setting some harsh dread in motion. That does not mean I won't ensure she returns safely if she wants to leave, I would.

I know there as some Thai women who have land, houses etc and are well off in their own right but Cannelloni does not think they exist as he has only paid for such women as Issan-Girl(PhuketGirl) the ones he may have come across with good jobs and careers etc will have no interest in old blokes.

He claims he has no interest in business women but really it is the other way around. 🤣

I think it is much healthier for a farang to find one of this type of women, the investments/property are made/bought in Thailand by the Thai woman and the farang in his own country where it is safe, then both are better off, no trust needed, aggravation/worry avoided.

If I build a house on her huge tract of land, it would o fcourse be a good deal for me, as I would not have to purchase the land. I wanted to build anyway.

You have hit the nail on the head but do not realise it.

Your caveman comment is your state of mind towards women, the rest of society has moved on as is natural, society today is not what it was a hundred years ago never mind in caveman times.

You have the caveman attribute, we don't.

And it is reenforced by buying and paying for women, you are already on the path as you mentioned buying a farm which your can not own in your own name, that will be Issan-Girl's first of many assets to come.

Time will tell. The "sick buffalo"clichee is probably the spawn of a sick Western mind and never happened in reality. Phuket Girl has a lot of land, or rather will receive a lot of land. And I do mean a lot of land. So she'd save me a lot of money if I build a house.

Just now, Cameroni said:

Quite right. However - and this is simply reality - the bars are overwhelmingly populated by women from the Isaan region. It is not inaccurate to say that Isaan is Thailand’s largest exporter of sex workers.

That’s not judgement, just demographics - and pretending otherwise only serves the fantasy.

The more things change, the more they stay the same, as the French so philosophically observed. Actually, society has not moved on. Men still provide resources for sexual access the world over. To deny this is to live in a delusional world.

9 minutes ago, JamesPhuket10 said:

You have a delusional attitude, you seek to deny reality, which is that you pay for your woman, as does everyone who posts on this thread. At least Richard had the intellectual rigour to admit it, you should do the same.

You prefer women who lack real freedom of choice, because it gives your wallet leverage.

A perfectly understandable strategy for someone without any actual game. Financial dependence buys you control - you can demand to see their phone, issue ultimatums, and remind them who’s paying whenever insecurity strikes. Compliance becomes a condition of income.

Financially independent women, by contrast, do not tolerate being audited, managed, or treated like a rented commodity. Which, rather neatly, explains why they remain entirely outside your orbit.
