I was at a place with peace and had completely different plans than a thai gf and Thailand when I first time met her, and also supposedly was my very last trip to Thailand. I just wanted to visit one ore Island I had on my list, and do some freediving with friends there, and that was it, now 10 years later, I cant say I regret my accidental meeting with her, and now 9 year relationship and marriage after knowing each other 6 years.

Serendipity has much to be said for it, though if you think about it, your partner is by far the most important choice in your life. It makes sense to invest good time into proper evaluation and search.

This is good for the men.  They can now trade in for a newer model.

So, in answer to your question/statement, then I'd say not generally there yet here and depends on where you are and who you are... many variables to weigh up, but change is inevitable, especially in a social media-driven world with weak minds awash with nonsense from their digital devices all the time. I guess the human mind instictively tries to grab onto something to stabilize itself... however, what that turns out to be has ultimately a huge influence on the vulnerables as few role models exist in the real world for many. However, to be fair, you have made some noteworth and credible points worth considering... cheers.

 

Without a doubt TikTok and co are a curse and a scourge for men, however, it's not just social media. I have a sneaking suspicion the older ladies, their mothers are by far the most ardent feminists and are whispering these things into the ears of their daugthers, you are equal now, get a man who does housework, etc, it's not just social media.

I don't look anywhere near 69, but still know my limitations. Like I said, couples still have sex into their 90's, with a little help, so it's not about age but how you treat each other. This is Thailand, and no matter what you look like, it's more about money, as you can see with the many mismatches walking around. The question asked, is if you want to be the ATM that gets sex, or the partner.

It's not all about money. Women don't actually care for money. No woman ever said "He wears a Versace shirt, I must have him" or "He drives a BMW, now I will give myself to him". But there's many other things you need to be to get with a 10 today, that is in the 18 to 25 age range. Money is not enough by far. Provided you satisfy a minimum threshold, and can provide fun experiences, you're good.It's other things that matter. Yes it's not easy. And even with a lifetime of experience, you can't really know what a woman is like until years down the line. The real problem. It's really down to character. A bar girl can have a fanastic character and an heiress can be a total psycho beatch. It's about character. After attraction is a given.

All women want things. Some want things and some want a provider, where she'll get things being a good wife. Look again at all the gorgeous women in just this country with men who are overweight, drunks and lack hygiene. Why are they together? Many women here like to show off their things, gold, cars, houses, etc to "friends" that will just talk crap about them when they're gone. It's a competition. Sleeping with the devil for gold. Same everywhere but more so in poor countries. Look at many of the billionaires and how they look, and who they're with. Money can buy many women. Just not decent ones.

the most important is to find someone with same interests as you, and if that is sex, then you will be disappointed. 

 

My wife is not my best sexual partner or experience in life, but she is my best friend, and if you can live with that, then there is hope.

Take away the money here and how many foreigners would have their women? The reason they're with foreigners isn't all because Thai men cheat and leave after babies are born. It's the better chance at a good life, which means money. Everyone wants money. Most don't care about being rich but comfortable. Some will be greedy no matter how much they have. Stupid women leave money for more money. Smart women don't leave a good decent provider.

 

Thailand is not a normal place to base relationships on, like the west. When there's equality in income, or even close, then relationships are based more on love, care and trust. Ask yourself about all the girls you talk to here. When is money not involved, and I'm not talking about hookers?. They all want cash. Some more than others. You don't pay, they won't play. Some might at first but not for long. They're with you because of a promise, a dream, of a future, so they'll give you their bodies, thinking you'll stay.
