I've negative geared a few properties in Oz over the years. 

 

Before I moved overseas I had management rights (restricted real estate license), I lived on site.

I had a nice 4 bedroom house, salt water swimming pool etc, on the Gold Coast, Burleigh Waters I rented out, the bastards installed a hydroponic system, growing marijuana. Cut holes through walls to use the pool for irrigation.

Donald Trump's approval ratings are at rock bottom. Even the usually unself-critical US president has to admit it. But he has an explanation ready. "My poll numbers have just dropped, but they've gone up a lot among smart people," Trump said Wednesday in a speech to high-ranking business executives and Saudi Arabian officials. According to the Reuters/Ipsos poll, Trump's approval rating among voters with a college degree is 33 percent, while among those without a college degree it's 42 percent.

It is very refreshing to hear a republican admit that he's disenchanted with the circus clown. This Administration has been a total embarrassment to the US, and America has become the laughing stock of the entire planet with this goon in charge. 

 

GOP congress people and senators have finally developed enough courage to start opposing some of his more ridiculous policies, the rather astonishing Epstein denials, and other such nonsense, and it's time for some of his supporters to start thinking independently, and I applaud you for that.

For impeachment the Democrats will require a majority in the House of Representatives (very possible in a years time) followed by the subsequent trial before the Senate which I believe would need a 60/100 (?) majority in the Senate to convict. That last is perhaps less likely, given the way in which the Senate elections are staggered, and frankly one must also take into account the inherently undemocratic nature of Senate representation, whereby the most populous states have the same level of representation as the least populous.

 

As for the Democrats "sneaking back in through the back door" their latest poll performance would suggest that if there are free and fair elections (and that is a very big "if") they may well win convincingly and walk in through the front door!
