 Manhunt underway after 4 killed, 11 injured at child's birthday party

 

A manhunt continues for the people believed to have been behind the Stockton-area mass shooting that killed four and injured 11 at a child's birthday party.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said the attack appears to have been targeted. The ages of the victims were 8, 9, 14 and 21.

Roscoe Brown, an outreach worker employed by the City of Stockton's Office of Violence Prevention, told the Associated Press the birthday party had been for the 2-year-old granddaughter of his brother.  Brown had not attended the party, but said a niece and nephew were among the injured victims.  Photos  indicate Brown is Black.

Just over 100 were suicides (mainly serving or ex-military) and 22 were homicides. Moreover, the number of suicides from firearms has declined by 50% since the UK introduced stricter rules on owning guns for leisure activities. 

 

Personally, I think that it is intuitively obvious that the easier it is to obtain firearms, the greater the number of firearm related deaths there will be. However, there is no need to rely on my intuition, the evidence is plain for all to see.

Overall you have to count suicides as well, but they die free-willingly, so for the sake of this “argument” I don’t think it’s fair to include these in gun crime.
 

I can speak only for myself, and this is purely hypothetical just to be clear, but I’d never use a gun that’s registered to me to kill anyone, unless I wouldn’t plan on getting away with it and most killers do plan to get away,  unless it’s a heat-of-the-moment thing. 
 

Also, I don’t think it’s fair to compare a country like the US where they’ve always had the right to bear arms to countries that don’t or never die to the same extant. Then there’s also the Wild West aspect to it as well. It’s a completely different path that lead to where they are now than it was in Europe. They’re so different in the way they think about that than the rest of the world, too. I find it extremely interesting that a country that has only 4% of the world’s population is home to 63 or 68% of the world’s serial killers. Paired with all the mass shooting! Something is seriously off the rails over there. 
 

At the end of the day it’s impossible to get rid of all the guns in the US and even if they tried, the black market that’s still alive today would just flourish exponentially, just like the booze black market did back in the 20s. 
 

They just need to tighten it up.

No, I'm not at war with anyone ,I'm at war with bad ideas, failed policies, and the kind of systemic  willful blindness that lets tragedies like this one in Stockton repeat over and over.

This wasn't some random rampage by a law abiding gun owner exercising their rights. It was a targeted gang related hit at a 2 yearold's birthday party in a banquet hall packed with families ,three kids and a 21 year old gunned down, 11 others wounded. Stockton's no stranger to this, it's got one of Calif highest violent crime rates,as I pointed out in a previous post. Guns laws to the teeth don't stop bad actors  with ghost guns.

 

 Solution, Like I said ,Give  Federal Enforcement a chance to clean up them Dem controlled crime infested communities.   Let the feds come in  for 1 month. and Bliz Stockton. What is Newsome so afraid of ?
