At least he is "in command"... and doing well. I would say the only plot he has lost is that he is spending too much time putting out fires around the world and not enough time fixing things at home. He reposted a fantasy story claiming that Elon Musk saved the 2024 election by tracking IP addresses in Serbia that would’ve altered U.S. votes. He boosted a post insisting that Tulsi Gabbard, now serving in his cabinet as Director of National Intelligence, is in possession of classified documents proving Barack Obama orchestrated the “Russiagate hoax.” He ranted that Senator Mark Kelly and “a group of unpatriotic politicians” were guilty of encouraging disobedience against him, writing, “I hope the people looking at them are not duped into thinking that it’s OK to openly and freely get others to disobey the President of the United States!”

 

Along the way, he also attacked Gavin Newsom, Ilhan Omar, Tim Walz, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, James Comey, and Eric Holder, all pretty much framed as enemies of the state. And then he ended the whole thing with a virtual scream: “TRUTH SOCIAL IS THE BEST! There is nothing even close!!!”

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed her fellow Republican lawmakers have mocked President Donald Trump behind closed doors. The Georgia lawmaker made the claim during an interview with CBS News correspondent Lesley Stahl on 60 Minutes. 

 

Stahl asked Greene about Republican lawmakers’ support for Trump, and whether some of that support is because they are “afraid that they’ll get death threats.” This comes after Greene said she and her family received such threats during her public falling-out with Trump last month.

 

“I think they're terrified to step out of line and get a nasty Truth Social post on them, yes,” Greene said.

When asked if Republicans talk differently about Trump behind the scenes, Greene replied: “Yes.”

“I watched many of my colleagues go from making fun of him, making fun of how he talks, making fun of me constantly for supporting him, to when he won the primary in 2024, they all started — excuse my language, Lesley — kissing his a** and decided to put on a MAGA hat for the first time,” she said.
