You refuse to condemn a religion that opposes gay rights and subjugates women. That tells me everything.

That's rich coming from you. 😀  Did you ever find those house pics you claimed I posted? I'm surprised you didn't save a copy...

Let me see if you can understand this on a second reading:

You’ll not find any post from me attacking any religion.

  • I just wonder how Britain fell to such depths where plain truths need to be suppressed in order not to offend the worlds most offensive a religion.  Where and when will it end ?   There

Imagine the outrage if a Muslim teacher reprimanded Christian children for following their religious practices.   No teacher has any duty to reprimand any child for following their own faith

  • Refusing to follow the leftist narrative can be costly.    Facts must not get in the way of denigrating Britain and the British people.

So you obviously don't feel very strongly about gay rights and women's rights.

Not strongly enough to speak out about it anyway.

Mere virtue signaling, just as I suspected.

Maybe you have.

I haven’t and have no interest in doing so.

Spot on.

He's never slow to hate on the Jews, sorry I mean the "Israelis".

I’ve spoken out supportive of both on many occasions.

So another fail Jonny.

No-one seems to have commented on the disgusting behavour of the students washing their feet in the basins. A school is for learning.  If their religion requires them to wash their feet, then that and any other aspects of a non-Christian religion should be performed outside of school hours.

Another baseless slur.

I have never posted hatred towards Jews, or Israelis.

Do another fail Jonny.

You refuse to condemn Islam for its stance on gay rights and the subjugation of women.

That tells me everything I need to know Chomps.

It’s discussed at length earlier in the thread, but to be fair you might not think so given that the thread has now descended into a baseless personal pack attack.

I condemn all attacks on gay rights and the subjugation of women and have frequently done so.

Incidentally, by no means only by Muslims.

So another fail Jonny.

Did you read the whole thread ?

I’ve lived in Saudi Arabia for over two years too, so don’t go to the trouble of posting ‘facts on Saudi Arabia’, I’ve seen it close up.

I don't care if you walk on one leg, facts are facts.

And wherever you've lived, you aren't the one responsible for a country's national policy changes.

Does your wife wear a Niqab by any chance?

I did not claim I was.

Would you like to condemn Islam's stance on gay rights and subjugation of women?

You can do better than that.

Or at least I hope you can.

🇸🇦🇦🇪 1. Saudi Arabia & UAE: How Much Have They Modernised?

Where they HAVE modernised

  • Women’s rights: significant improvements (e.g., driving in Saudi Arabia, employment reforms, more autonomy).

  • Social freedoms: cinemas, concerts, mixed events (Saudi); relaxed alcohol/cohabitation rules (UAE).

  • Economy & legal system: new commercial laws, new courts, reduced bureaucratic restrictions.

  • Tourism & international openness: both now market themselves as global hubs.

Where they are STILL conservative

  • LGBT rights: no progress. Still fully criminalised.

  • Political rights: no meaningful political dissent allowed.

  • Speech & expression: very limited; criticism of rulers or religion punished.

  • Family & religious law: still heavily based on conservative interpretations of Islam.

I condemn all attacks on gay rights and subjugation of women.

As my posting history testifies.

Oddly the news from the UK is millionaires, Richard Tice included, who can choose to live where they wish are fleeing the UK to go live in a Muslim state, governed by Sharia law.

Richard Tices girlfriend moved to Dubai and he sometimes goes to visit her . He spends his time between the UK and Dubai

She moved to Dubai because of Labours policies , their tax on education

🌍 2. Comparison with OTHER MUSLIM-MAJORITY COUNTRIES

More liberal than Saudi/UAE

Countries with noticeably more social and legal freedoms:

➡️ Turkey (historically)
Secular system, LGBT not criminalised, freer speech (though political repression has increased in recent years).

➡️ Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo
Muslim-majority but fully integrated into European legal frameworks.

➡️ Tunisia
Strong women’s rights framework; more personal freedoms; political system more open (though fluctuating recently).

➡️ Jordan & Morocco
Still conservative, but freer expression and more legal flexibility than Gulf states.

➡️ Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan
More secular legally; less emphasis on religious criminal law.

Similar level of conservatism

Often socially conservative, limited LGBT rights, but may allow more open political discussion:

➡️ Pakistan – Criminalises LGBT; strong religious influence; inconsistent modernisation.
➡️ Qatar – Similar to Saudi in social policies; slow reforms.

More restrictive than Saudi/UAE in certain aspects

➡️ Afghanistan (Taliban) – Extremely restrictive.
➡️ Iran – Heavy political and religious policing; severe punishments.

Yet you celebrate the Islamification of Britain.

I guess it's easy to have the double standard when you don't have to live there.
