He inherited a Mess & he's fixing it. Rome wasn't built in a day Mr. President,Fight Fight Fight.

Paraphrasing: In just one year, the administration turned challenges like open borders, high inflation, and global disrespect into strengths, securing the border, restoring safety, and rebuilding economic power, showing that decisive action can deliver historic change quickly.

The story is based on a White House message to America

Under Trump the Left are demonizing his ability to use federal immigration  laws created by Congress, the same ones used by his predecessors.

The US is no longer a trusted partner. Yeah he's done a wonderful job.

Just one or two? How are those coffee imports doing? F-35 sales?

Well I suppose it doesn't matter where the coffee comes from as long as the price is right but now there are more middlemen.

It is a growing list

Blaming your predecessor only works for so long, eventually people demand accountability.

Hey mate, fair point, accountability is key for any leader. But in this case, the speech isn't just pointing fingers it's highlighting specific turnarounds ,like border crossings dropping to zero, prices falling fast, and wages outpacing inflation that happened after inheriting those issues.

Making America Great & Safe is a worthy cause it got him re elected. Cleaning up a Mess is the goal.

Well he did inherit some of the highest inflation, cost of living & housing.   Also unemployment, loss of businesses, employers, as many have not recovered from the looney, closed business policies during covid.  Or simply shut down all together.

Along with lots of unhappy citizens for same reason, some still haven't recovered, work & income wise, along with finding out how much Obama's ACA universal healthcare didn't cover, if using during covid, or after vaccinated :cheesy:

A few more million illegal aliens, the cost and burden on the system.   Added cost & hassle of deporting them.

I'd say he inherited quite a load.

Indeed!!! The quick fixes on borders, falling prices, and jobs going 100% to Americans show accountability . Imagine what he could of done if Obama & Biden didn't weaponize the Govt. agencies.

Fact-Checking Trump’s Prime-Time Address on the Economy
The president cited misleading statistics to insist, wrongly, that prices were coming down.

Don't know what Trump said, as don't follow MSM, but AI seems to agree with the premise, some prices have come down, and some considerably.  Others far reaching and may have a longer positive effect: petrol & home interest rates, saving 1000s of $$$$ over a 30 yr mortgage. (see savings below)

List has all things I would use or eat, if living in USA :coffee1:

Lol! Trump inherited a good economy from Biden, and it's getting worse under Trump!

The only significant price which decreased is the price of gas, and it's due to OPEP. Despite this significant external influence, inflation did not decrease compared to 2024. Oh and food inflation actually increased compared to 2024, despite Trump promising to lower grocery prices from day one! 🤣

Unemployment decreased under Biden, and increased again under Trump! In particular, the number of manufacturing jobs decreased, despite his promises. 🤣

Trump lies, just like he lied during his campaign!

Explain us how food inflation has decreased (not cherry picked items), despite data showing the opposite! 🙂

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/food-inflation

Gas prices have decreased because OPEC increased production, it's an external factor.

Mortgage cost decreased because of Fed rate cuts. The reason given by the Fed was that the job market was weak...

Same here - and it is the recommended method for all those who know reality and understand that Trump mate not be the greatest by he is not causing death and destruction like Biden did.   I am not sure who started it, but on X there recently started a 'tactic' whereby people just ignore the Trump haters and dont respond.  Dont feed the trolls - or something like that, it is called.

I've learned not to try to explain things to you, as you won't understand them.   Why I ignore replying to so many people, and just give them a chuckle emoji.

Talk  about cherry pickin' ... Biden & unemployment.   Simply a result of pandemic ending and businesses opening back up  :coffee1:

spot on mate , (down to around $2.85----$2.95 nationally, with some states hitting under $2) and groceries like eggs (plummeting over 80% from earlier peaks) are hard to miss, and those lower mortgage rates (hovering 6%) could save thousands over a loan's life. The border stats are all time historic too , crossings at historic lows this year. All this despite the international leftist  desperate attempts to demonize 45 & 47 in wanting to save the soul of America from far left rule.

I'd definitely notice egg prices, as we go through about 200 a month, and there's only 2 of us :cheesy:

Lol! I can agree with you that there is no way to explain to me that food inflation decreased while data is showing that it has actually increased! 🤣
