Early morning I added some comments at the thread about the Thai Baht not weaking after checking rates.

 

Since yesterday it has dropped significantly. So e.g. EUR/THB gained from 36.5 to 37.3 approx.

Similar gains for other currencies.

Seems the announced control measure are having an effect?

It will last until new year and then the pain will continue

Then the BOT should have used them a year ago.

Weird change, they'd dropped interest rates before and no noticeable change. Maybe they have indicated they're cracking down on money laundering finally

I wouldn't mind if it drops some more.

I'd prefer the best rate of 90 to the pound shortly after the Thai financial crash ..but don't want to be too greedy 😋
