That is all the world needs now, another war.

What's next?

Greenland?

Canada?

Iran?

Probably Nigeria, timed with the next outrage due to something from the Epstein-Trump files. Nigeria is actually an ideal target. Lots of oil, and due to a large Christian population Trump can fire some more Tomahawks willy-nilly into the country while using religious persecution as an excuse. Like he would give an actual frack!🤣

PS. Donald, do try to avoid scaring the bejesus out of buffaloes and hippos this time, okay?thumbsup

Trump has got his fake peace prize now from his tool Infantino, so he is ready to go.

I think he has started more wars than he has actually ended.

My life is all about exposing idiots like yourself. My job is very easy.

So...do you agree or condemn the actions against Maduro?

Like usual when America meddles. The current despot will be replaced by another despot. But this should obviously lift the usual American sanctions against Venezuela oil which means drop in prices that the world badly needs.

Canada? Trump can send ROTC cadets for that takeover 🤣

I have worked with the Canadian Reserve Forces, who recruit heavily from University Students and have a number of programmes tailored to them. I have also worked with the ROTC.

I know where my bets would lie if it came to "eh lads eh"!

This operation was not an act of war. But I can see why you don't understand this since you are anti-Trump on everything

If one was underneath the various air strikes or up against the various helicopter borne assault groups it probably rather felt like one!

General "Raizin" Caine gives a detailed breakdown of the U.S. attack on Venezuela, says they were so detailed that they knew what Maduro ate and where his pets were.

- 150 aircraft involved.

- U.S. forces arrived at Maduro's compound at 1;01 a.m.

- Helicopters came under fire, but "replied with that fire with overwhelming force and self-defense."

- Maduro and his wife gave up and were taken into custody.

- The youngest crew member was 20, and the oldest crew member was 49.

- Preparation took several months.

- "Those in the air over Caracas last night were willing to give their lives for those on the ground and in the helicopters."

- "After months of work by our intelligence teammates to find Maduro and understand how he moved, where he lived, where he traveled, what he ate, what he wore, what were his pets..."

- The weather was just clear enough for the mission so aviators could operate.

- All U.S. soldiers are safe.

CBS News

“This feels like a breath of fresh air”: Venezuelans in South Florida poured into the streets of Doral early Saturday, celebrating the U.S. military action in Venezuela that led to the arrest of President Nicolás Maduro.

People carried Venezuela’s flag and sang together in the early morning hours. “It's not an act of war. It's an act of freedom,” one Venezuelan said.

Beijing needs oil that is not subject to US pressure. That means Russia, Venezuela & Iran. 🇨🇳 has been buying 60-90% of Venezuelan and 85-90% of Iranian crude. That's 30-35% of 🇨🇳's present oil importation.

Another ~35% of 🇨🇳's oil comes from Arab suppliers subject to US guidance or pressure.

With new governments in Venezuela and Iran, the US will be able to regulate up to 70% of the CCP's present-day oil needs.

CCP war planners cannot execute against Taiwan under those conditions. This takes pressure off the US in the Indo-Pacific for a while, to the net benefit of American NATO commitments in Europe.

Who knows Venezuela's immediate future. The opposition leader (who actually won the last election) is living in Spain, maybe he returns again at some point after the expected turmoil settles. The Nobel peace prize recipient supports him. Maybe the VP takes over for a bit, maybe civil war, or miltary dictatorship attempt in the short-term. Otherwise a rather bold and successful operation, plucking the head of state and his wife away in the middle of the night, what an embarrassment to Venezuelan military and security forces. Maduro deserves his day in court, and jail.

Let's all remember the hints were given before any of this began. Maduro was NEVER the legitimate president of Venezuela. He was head of the criminal cartel who rigged the election to stay in power. Now, we're going to find out how the Smartmatic election software he created was also used to steal US elections. This is all connected, and the opposition in Venezuela has been collaborating with the Trump administration this entire time to make it happen. Guaranteed the US is going to make sure the Venezuelan opposition takes over the reins of government smoothly and without civil war.

Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado urged Americans to trust the Trump administration

Maduro's gone?

Who are we going to compare Trump with now?

Putin?

If the people of Venezuela (and the 8 million Venezuelan refugees) are very lucky, the ultimate consequences of what Trump did will benefit them over the long term. I certainly hope so.

But keep in touch with reality.

Trump doesn't care about the Venezuelan people.

Trump doesn't care about democracy.

He has motivations but not those.

  • Popular Post

No matter what Trump's motivations are, one reality is that Maduro has left the room. Hopefully what comes next is a peaceful transition of power to a truly democratic replacement.

Your naive optimism is charming.

Trump doesn't even want democracy in the U.S.

I can't believe the guy who was elected by promising peace is now invading countries and planning to steal their natural resource (oil).

Every revolutionary in Latin America will be packing their bags and guns, sounds familiar, good luck Venezuela.

mexico has hundreds of miles of undeveloped coast lines that maybe could be turned into golf courses and condos....with big Orange T signs on them. Panama Canal could be renamed the T canal with a toll booth with all proceeds direct into T bitcoin. The possibilities are endless.

Marco Rubio explains.....

So, according to Rubio, apparently, instead of getting authorization from Congress for an attack on a foreign country, all you need now is a warrant from the DOJ. And apparently Venezuela didn't have the right to deal with certain countries according to Rubio. Rubio also claimed that Maduro sent gang members to America. A claim which was debunked by experts at the National Security Council in a report. For which they were fired by Tulsi Gabbard. Rubio also claimed that Venezuela posed a direct threat to the United States. Even if that was true, how will a new regime change that? What exactly is the threat and how will a new regime change that?

And here's where Rubio launches into comedy "Look, the President doesn't go out looking for people to pick fights with. Generally, he wants to get along with everybody."

About half the speech was devoted to praising Trump.

What is missing from Rubio's defense is Trump's demand that American oil companies be returned assets that were "stolen" from them. That's going to play real well in Venezuela.

It's always the armchair Rambo's who pretend they're tough.

How about the Generals. Should the never seen combat Generals lead the fighting men?
