Data sim unlimited Lazada

What is your question? If the add-on suits your purpose. AIS offer a similar package, though at 3500 baht.

Wasn’t really a question.

Just offering another option for anyone interested.

If 6 Mbps is enough, works for me as i have WiFi at the house also.

I used the Lazada 1 year cheap sims since 2016 but a few years ago their availability dropped and the prices rose a lot so i looked at the True add on package.

The main advantage i would say is not having to change numbers and the ease of renewing via the True app.

To me, fairly fresh from Europe, "unlimited" means unlimited data.

Depends where you live and which network has the best signal. I prefer AIS, have 10mbps unlimited 150 baht a month. you could get a cheap 50 baht sim and test it, starting with AIS

It's a deal I've had for years, if you can find a good deal on lazada or shopee go with that

If it's limited speed then you can only use so much data in a day/week/month. So nothing about it is unlimited.

If you do the simple math how much data you can theoretically use at the speed limit for 24/7, you will find that it's usually priced the same as an unlimited speed plan with data cap for the same amount of time.

It's just two different ways to bill you for essentially the same amount of service usage. They slap on the word 'unlimited' because it makes it sound better than it actually is.

Firstly to state that it wasn't me who clicked on a laughing emoji, as I'm going to take what you have stated seriously.

You state that you paid 1199 baht for a Max speed unlimited plan. I know about this plan. You also stated that you utilised 20GB to 40GB per day and went on to state that you can only use so much data in a day/week/month, with the capped speed plans.

But what you didn't take into account is that with an Unlimited 10Mbps package, you can theoretically download 108GB per day. I pay 200 baht per month for that. That is far and above the 20GB to 40GB for which you paid nearly 1200 baht per month. With my unlimited 20Mbps pack, I could download 216GB per day. 300 baht. People who had the DTAC 30Mbps SIM, up to 324GB daily. Even True offered 30Mbps recently, so up to 324GB daily.

So for most people's intents and purposes, it's unlimited data. Creating an argument against that for no good reason, is just creating an argument for no good reason...or perhaps you really just didn't understand.

Again nonsense. Please stop trolling !!

I can't remember you have been there when I bought it. !!!!!

Perhaps your memory fails you and it was DTAC. They did have a 12 month 30Mbps option many moons ago.

Another option, for those who have good reception with DTAC, is that they currently offer unlimited data promos at 8,15 & 30Mbps. The caveat is that you need to subscribe to a different package altogether, which then gives you access to the promos. I believe TRUE is doing something similar. None are avialable via official outlets, just distributors as before.

Here is an example: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/dtac-15mbps-24-dtac-wifi-i2976163424-s15219755298.html

The 250, 300 & 350 baht packages.

But I don't know where you are seeing these deals?

I don't have a contract maybe that is why?

They are usually only available to new customers. That means a new number. If you need to keep your number, you can port it to a new network temporarily and perhaps after a month, port it back to AIS again, if AIS has the best signal for you.

Porting gives you access to new customer promos.

But, there is a loophole as an existing customer. If for instance, you liked the package that I posted earlier, for 350 baht, call their call centre on 1175 and request it. If they refuse, request your porting code and tell them you will move to a new network in order to get it. You can with the new network and then a month later, you can port back and get it with AIS. They may just decide to save you the trouble, in case you decide to not return. I got a friend to do that and now she pays 200 baht per month for Unlimited 10 Mbps data and unlimited any network calls.

Depends on whther you are willing to make the effort or not.

Another option is just to add a Unlimited 6 Mbps 12 month pack for 3500 baht to your existing SIM, cancelling your 748 baht per month package.
