A foreign tourist was forcibly removed from a train in Thailand after causing a disturbance. The man, accompanied by his Thai wife, reportedly insulted passengers, praised Cambodia, and engaged in aggressive behavior. Witnesses and railway staff had to intervene after he smashed a train window and demanded alcohol during a late-night altercation.

The incident began when the man's argument with his wife escalated as they traveled on the train. Witnesses described him making obscene gestures and loudly criticizing Thailand and its people. The disturbance started around 01:00, waking and unsettling passengers.

Approximately 20 minutes later, railway staff attempted to de-escalate the situation but were met with resistance. The man verbally abused officials and physically attacked at least one passenger. Other travelers eventually restrained him, as seen in a video posted by Facebook user Ameenah Tokyousoh.

Despite being ordered to exit at the next station, the man continued to insult Thais via livestreaming. His wife also reportedly joined in the verbal assaults. At the station, the confrontation peaked with the man causing further damage before being removed by authorities.

The incident has gained significant online attention, with the video attracting widespread condemnation of the man's actions, reported Khaosod.

Has a lot to learn, complaining about Thailand and singing the praises of Cambodia while in Thailand, no wonder the Thai men got in there to punch the hell out of him, to be honest he got off lightly. Has a Thai wife, wonder what she thinks of him

Embarrassing foreigner to us all. If they don’t deport him he may have to watch his back now his face has been shown to all

What a complete numskull, sounds like the guy is just incredibly unhappy with his life, had a little bit too much to drink and was taking it out on everyone around him. He needs to be silenced, and I can think of a few ways to do that.

I don't think anyone appreciates a foreigner who comes here and be berates the local people while praising Cambodia. It sounds like the man is in need of a mental institution.

Was it really necessary for other passengers to start beating him ?

He can be anything.

I was just really hoping he wasn't British.

Definitely an oddball, and not the smartest thing to do, praising Cambodia and slagging off Thailand on a Thai train.

Another video view of the quality tourist..

Definitely a foreign moron. However, I love the way the guy with the multi-colored hoodie comes running after he see that enough many people attack. A cowards reaction.

Regarding the foreigner. Just fine and deport his arse. We don´t need people like that here.

Unfortunately, par for the course here.

If he is really so unhappy with this country, he should not have stepped in in the first instance. Leave at once to save your own skin, you <deleted>. (i am referring to that <deleted> in the video clip)

I thought the same: the multi-coloured hoodie made sure there were plenty in front of him before he started his attack.

Incidentally, funny about the guy with the coat marked ' Department of Probation ' who was trying to cool things down.I wonder if he was on escort duty.

It actually looks like an official jacket

Whichever way you cut it, definitely very dumb behaviour by the foreigner.

Yes, I think he, kind of ask for that.

What beating? At the end he still had his glasses, no marks on him and still running his mouth. Seems the Thai guy had pillow fists, too bad he didn't get a proper beating..

Nor an American judging by his accented English (I hope).

Six months in detention centre to dry out, then deport him.

Well his accent is definitely not British.........

That foreigner needs to pay for any property damage he made.

For entertainment value, gotta give it to the guy in the purple shirt who went all in on the action.

I'm guessing this will not make its way on to Richard Barrow's Thai Train Guide.
