January 16Jan 16 Popular Post I have seen 3-4 beautiful tattoos over the past 50 years.But only 3 or 4.Most of the tats I've seen have been the usual copies every tat-wearer gets; Tribal designs, even though not of the tribe, Words written in Chinese or Japanese characters (neither the Chinese nor Japanese people wear them), cartoon characters (why? Just why?), and lots of scribbles. Here in Thailand, I see a lot of foreigners getting Buddhist sutras tattooed on their backs, despite being Episcopalian or Lutheran. I once asked a young tourist with a fresh Thai tat for a translation of what was written on the back of his neck. The most he could tell me was that it was a tattoo. And a Thai tattoo at that! What a souvenir. And 3 or 4 tats that looked nice.

It's like, how people interact with each other, how societies are structured, and how they change over time.Interesting stuff if you like people.

What is a study to you, if the one behind it, just shut everyone down? It could have been interesting, with supportive information. Like how many tattoos do you have, where are they placed and what motive do they have. Was it something that made you choose the motive. Did you get your tattoos when you where sober or was it a decision made by an alcohol fueled mind. Do you socialize with people who have or don´t have tattoos? Do you have or would you rather choose a partner with tattoos or not, and does it really matter? Are you happy with your tattoos?
