Different strokes for different folks. Prior to the Thailand "cultural revolution" in the 1930s where Thais were mandated to Westernize by the government, the average topless Thai villager wouldn't have raised an eyebrow.

Just asking for a friend, do they really need 'harsh regulations' to prevent couples going at it like rabbits in public?

Yes, naturism has nothing to do with sex while I admit it is sometimes difficult for men to hide their unwanted erection.

Not difficult for me.

Most nudist resorts expect everyone to be nude so that they don't end up with loads of closeted perverts who just go there to perv on the nude women (usually).

I remember the saunas and "FKK" quarries in Germany in the 80s. Same thing. They had some "family" saunas where people were clothed but in the "nude" saunas there was no "clothing optional if you just want to gawk at nude women" options.

The nude quarries weren't regulated and sure enough, if you went to one you'd see (mostly) German families, from grandparents to grandkids, buck naked.

And then groups of foreigners wearing shorts, blasting music and throwing empty beer cans around because they were just there to ogle the women and too pussy to go naked themselves. Just pathetic losers making a nuisance of themselves.

I've heard of "clothing optional" resorts in Thailand years ago but they are (usually) very discreet - for legal reasons and to keep all those loser perverts away.

I wasn't really surprised that there were such resorts in Thailand as a study in Germany showed that the (large) majority of Germans who travelled on holiday (domestically or internationally) looked for "FKK" (nudist) friendly destinations. Not to mention that many Scandinavians are also quite "free" when it comes to shedding their clothes in the sun (and saunas).

But they are few and far between and not exactly well publicized of course.

In the country of Patpong live shows, endless massage parlours with happy endings and the Land of the Minor Wives?

Hypocritical nonsense to the utter ridiculousness of Thailand and its people hidden under all those stones - the same people as mentioned in above sentence, in case you care to know!

I such a place exists, and I doubt, I expect to see it being in the news as closed by the authorities.

It's been around for years.

Just as long as they don’t cook sausage….

Are you impotent ?

I’m the puyai bahn thus the most "impo(r)tent " man in the village.

It seems rather reckless and thoughtless of this woman to create that post knowing that it would make many problems for this resort. There's no reason why a resort like this shouldn't exist, it's just a bit of prudishness and fake purity that would compel the authorities to want to shut it down.

After all places like this could erode the moral fiber of a nation known for its purity and moral excellence.

The wife saw this from a different angle: "does that mean you can go with an empty suitcase".

Someone asked if the Thai staff are also naked? So?

Who said it was a problem? Don't you have any serious matters to think about?

What happens when they realise security spy cams are recording their every move..

Hopefully those impolite visitors who feel it's not rude to go shirtless around streets and shops will be banished there.

Or even food shopping wearing only tiny black trunks. Phuket will be half empty.

Not being into nudism myself, I have my own "Nudism test".

Anyone can do it, but I am currently thinking of the UK version.

On any day that you walk down the high street think to yourself "How many of my fellow shoppers would I like to see whilst they're nude."

The answer that I come up with is always <1%.

😁

That's a very good point , It's actually astonishing how some seem to assume that any women who frequent these resorts are all gorgeous young slim and up for it. Of course nothing is further from the truth,

And , I find the "family " aspect of this particularly disturbing , Naked men in close proximity to other peoples kids ? really?

Perverts and pedo's , check their hard drives

Have you considered masturbating before leaving your villa, in addition to when you return of course. It might help you control yourself a little better

  1. The culture of naturism emphasises body positivity, equality, and family-friendly interactions with nature.

  2. Similar resorts worldwide share these practices, attracting a specific tourist demographic.

Well it certainly will when they read this, a very specific demographic indeed, and Thailand had worked so hard to shake off that particular image , somebody should alert the authorities
