You're skimming the surface, a knee-jerk response. This all goes much deeper.

1) There were plenty of much better candidates available. The DCCC has been running the party into the ground for over a decade, forcing candidates down the voters' throats. This LAST sh*tshow was the worst to date. Biden was done, his cheese had done slid off his cracker, but his cabinet and the DCCC kept that a deep dark secret - exactly the same as is being done now. Then when they could no longer contain his failure as a viable candidate, they held no primary and did everything to hold up that cackling loon. That was a bridge too far for most Dem and Independent voters. The rest is sad history.

2) Read Project 2025. That is a blueprint for implementing the catastrophic policies Republicans have been plotting for years. The Dems in power clutch their pearls and wail at the sky, but too many of them are tacitly in the bag for these actions because there is a butt-ton of money to be made supporting them.

The cancel culture ideas you write about here are too much for the average person around the world to implement. Too many inconveniences, too many abrupt changes to their lives.

In fact, they are informed the same day the price is announced, by a completely independent 5 members board.
