Impossible

Why do you think that it is impossible for her to be aged 44?
She was a very attractive woman.

Obviously never experienced this in the western world.

The amount of shootings of falungs by their wife's or the wife's BF outweighs the amount of shooting by fallung husbands. Thais probably lead the list in killing their wife's.

All of this caused by theft of money and affairs. We all have heard of many experiences where the wife takes the house and the car and the money then gets the BF thrown out or killed, many books about this, it's been going on for many years.

Be careful out there!

And here comes the first victim blamer with made up fantasies.

To be fair, I have heard one or two (or 5000) stories about this happening... Maybe you have only heard glowing reports about guys that marry professional money stealers in the form of hot Thai women??

Now, I am sure the majority are not that way inclined, but some certainly do play a looooong convincing game, and Im sure some blokes feel like shooting them when it happens to them.

I have zero idea what happened here, and without knowing her, Im pretty convinced she didnt deserve this, but all Im saying is Im surprised it doesnt happen more often.

What an evil human being.

I agree- and in all these comments we seem to have forgotten that 2 children have lost their mother

A tragedy for them and all their family- regardless of whatever made this man shoot his wife

Hey, think positive, he will have a lot of time in the BKK Hilton to show how tough he is to the Thai gangs. I am sure they will welcome him with open arms.

Effing More Run. Enjoy hell.

Ops! A foreigner has made a mess again! Think if we just could get rid of these kinds of morons in Thailand. it´s amazing how hard some people have to understand reality. If things doesn´t work out, does not mean a person has to kill the other one. They have created a simple thing called separation and divorce for such circumstances. as we can see, this guy was a total zero. Now he has created a really good life for himself. Probably was thinking, I shoot her and the children are mine. Idiot!

Wow ! Instant genius at work !

I wonder if he is known to the British authorities. Foreigners owning a gun implies they think they may need to use it.

Have not seen one of those in years. I don't know anybody that still used one. Small mag capacity too.

Only hold 5 rounds made for target shooting very accurate and looks like a hi power very valuable on the collectors market

So like others you know how to add and subtract, you know the value of an item but choose to view realty through a distorted perspective and blame others for your bad judgement in a way to justify your bad decisions? Got it

Tragic, RIP to the deceased and her family. IMO the wrong person died.

From the report, and other comments on here, he seems like a very obnoxious individual with a volatile temperament. Add his drug habit and you can only imagine what living with him must’ve been like. No motive has been given for why he shot her or the circumstances that lead to it but by him fleeing confirms his guilt. Good work by the police to catch him so quickly. I hope he’s incarcerated for a substantial period of time, I doubt he’ll express remorse, but he’ll have plenty of time to dwell on why he screwed his life up whilst amongst other crazed individuals like himself.

That's the end of the road for him now. Such an arrogant and malicious individual. Tough times are ahead for him. In prison, he'll likely face both his fellow inmates and the guards being against him. Honestly, it's what he deserves.

His final days in a Thai prison will not be enjoyable! He has no clue what he’s in for!

that Mr Condron was known to have a bad temper and had a history of drug use, including heroin, with a criminal record, including incidents of fighting and a car accident

One of thailand's quality ex-pat residents??

7 hours ago, TheTightArseTraveller said:

Yeah.... those car accident people are PSYCHOS!!! Herion doesnt make you shoot people...now meth on the other hand...

He probably just found out (after donating his forever and all his money to the lifestyle in Thailand) she was banging the Thai guy next door, who she is actually married to....

I think you'll find you're wrong about the possible effects of heroin.

Out of curiosity, I ran an AI search for "does heroin alter the balance of mind"

Results included, among several others:

  • Reduced Functioning: It slows down brain activity, impairing coordination, judgment, and reaction times.

  • Emotional Disconnection: Users may feel detached from their surroundings.

And that's without mentioning the potential long-term / chronic use effects of which there are several.

Of course, the rest of what you wrote may be true but that's merely conjecture.

I thought .38s were wheel guns, so how was a casing found?

Could have been a 380 round (semi auto), and lost in translation, or as pointed out a 38 special semi auto.

If true then Mr Condron may have a long time in which to regret his actions, but probably not long enough.

Only 8 yrs as standard for murder, 16 - 8 w/ remorse/emotional distress

Its because most Thai are kind considered people, even police.

Or a convict (aussie) 🤷🏼

I was going to suggest the bank deposit for the annual 'retirement visa extension' should be increased to three million baht a year including the farangs married to Thais and also increase in the pension needed as that would keep the riff-raff out of Thailand but on the other hand all the serious crimes by long term farangs seem to happen in Pattaya or Isaan so we are safe from such people here in Phuket.

As far as I can see there are so many more stories of Thais murdering each other pro rata but they do not seem to raise any comments on this blog.

And banning the purchase of guns except for the police; criminals could still buy them on the black market but limiting the number of guns in circulation would help reduce such crimes.

Plus there are 24 thousand people killed on the roads in Thailand each year and hundreds of thousand injured, I saw such an incident just a few days ago, that could be vastly reduced if the police did their jobs and enforced the laws, the creation of a driving test which actually tested driving skills instead of one a ten year old could pass.

But life it cheap in Thailand it seems with no one really caring what goes on as long as they are OK.

I wish him a wonderful new life in Thailand!!! He deserves it!!!
