Using Bolt taxi to get home (in Chiang Mai)

Featured Replies

Signed up for BOLT here in Chiang Mai more than 1 yr ago. All worked well for many months.

Now using the app I can easily get a BOLT vehicle to my hose for a trip to BIG C or wherever.

And for many months no issues whatever to use the BOLT app again to get a BOLT vehicle to go home in Chiang Mai.

But this week when I tried to use the BOLT app to get a vehicle home all very different and unproductive, first response 'cannot get internet connection'.

just spoke to my adult granddaughter and my sons' Thai wife, they both indicate it's a problem with 'mobile data' and I need to flip mobile date to the opposite position but seems that I need to first go to 'airport mode' and turn it on and off then adjust my mobile data setting.

Tried all of that, still can't open the BOLT app to book a vehicle to go home (about 4 km only).

Looks like I'm doing somethin wrong, please advise me.

Thanks.

First, do you actually have mobile data, check with you service provider.

Next, is location turned on.

Restart your phone

Yes I do have Mobile Data. This morning I called AIS and the staff member confirmed I do have mobile data but it's turned off and I should turn it on.

I'm 81 years old, not a techie, I can't find Mobile Data on my phone. I've tried the 2 finger, 3 finger and 4 finger swipe right down the whole screen, doesn't open anything for me.

Also I can't find location.

Appreciate your advice, thanks.
