Welcome to how punishment is delivered in Thailand when mixing with wrong people. Legalising Cannabis was a disaster and guess who was the instigator? The current PM..hopefully soon gone

Crikey, Pattaya seems more dangerous for Russians than the Russian front. He should have joined Russia's army, perhaps, still be alive.

I appreciate your comment, but I believe it reflects a misunderstanding. The real issue here isn't about cannabis; it's about the unpaid money. He was killed because he failed to pay.

Must be a warning to others not to fail payment

It's hard to pay what you don't have.

Crappy business ventures.

This murder proves that the cannabis business isn’t the same as the way it’s portrayed in the movies. It’s run by ruthless people whose greed ensures they don’t think twice about killing anybody they believe double crossed them. If you’re in the game you accept the rules, simple. This guy stepped over the line and paid the price.

Unfortunately the cannabis business is just like any other business, where those at the top are making the most money, and will go to great lengths to keep that cash coming in. It isn't the smokers or small retailers but those who supply them.

Just like those who buy prostitutes, thinking it's okay because they're only having sex then leaving, without them thinking there is harm to the girls. They don't see behind the scenes, where these girls are fighting STD"s, their boyfriends, bar owners, or worse, their parents who talked them into doing this or the human traffickers who gain by selling them, and kill those who get in their way of profits.

Obviously this was about a debt, and they care less about the money than making themselves feared, so no one else tries what this man did, which keeps those profits coming in to maintain their lifestyle.

The Pattaya police updates make one thing clear: when a crime involves dismemberment and disposal across multiple sites, the forensic trail is simply too vast to cover up.

Every bike, tool, and burial site becomes a source of DNA, trace evidence, and physical links back to the two accused.

With investigators already recovering material from the suspects’ bikes, it’s hard to see how they escape conviction.

In cases like this, dismemberment doesn’t erase evidence as these guys thought it would, it multiplies it ensuring an overwhelming weight of forensic proof against them.

They've ostensibly solved the case for the police (who will, no doubt still claim the credit)!

The names of the hitmen are most likely incorrect. Cutting up pieces of the body is Chechnya gangster style. And yes it sends a message. It may have been more than just a debt. Perhaps, a refusal to cooperate on sales or to sell the business.

They are both wanted in Russia under Article 337 Part 5 of the Russian Criminal Code. Article 337 Part 5 of the Russian Criminal Code of the Russian Federation regulates unauthorized abandonment of a unit or duty station during mobilization, martial law, wartime, or combat conditions.

They are to be found on the Interpol database. You are correct in your assertion that the names initially published on this thread in having no relation to their actual names, which can be partially found here: https://world.thaipbs.or.th/detail/russian-man-found-dismembered-in-chonburi-two-suspects-arrested/60318

That's why they are not at the Russian front. Even Putin rejected them due to IQ issues.😅

Incorrect, they are wanted in Russia for desertion. Maybe they prefer to stay in Thailand...even in prison.

I suspect that even being closeted in the "Bangkok Hilton" will be better than what they face on the Ukrainian front!

Don't have to pay them back now that they in prison for life.

There are more involved than those two lowly soldiers ...

No Thai that I am aware of is forcing you or I or anyone to come to Pattaya. There are criminals everywhere on the planet....and, guess what, they are not going away.

No one forces you to go to Pattaya except your own sexual fantasies! Fact!

And please tell us all what you would deduce from such pictures.

I can't see anything good about this tragedy except to say at least it was about a significant amount of money. Many people in the world are killed over ridiculously small amounts.

No genius, there is something call Cost of Living, plus the other benefits you mentioned. You can stay in your "heaven" and continue to complain about Pattaya if it makes you happy.

Remember, the Thais could give a rat's a$$ what you do with your life.

You can tell which Bratva they belong too, and what crimes they have committed. Its pretty standard.

Imagine if banks started dismembering customers who had defaulted on payments?

Probably the banks would not exist if it was not for drug money laundering.

"He operated a cannabis-related business in the Jomtien area" Wonder what type Visa he had?

The actions of the authorities certainly did not do the business concept any favours. Surprised we still have shops and cafes left. They seem to be run by hairy types who sit around wondering what day it is.

Maybe want to? If I had a decision to 1. Fight and die at Russian front- death guaranteed or

pick choice No 2 being Eat <deleted>ty food at BKK Hilton. Mmmmm I pick 2

The suspects showed no signs of stress and functioned normally.

So those are the real die-hard Russian Roulette players.

Horrified to know a person can be dismembered for a debt that can now never be repaid.

Actually, it can be passed on to their family, who may not also want to be dismembered.

why would you wish the current PM to be gone soon? Who do you think should take his place ? and why?

there's always one isn't there ? Perhaps he was on visa exempt, who cares, especially now he's dead

As long as they keep it amongst themselves who really cares?
