The man who ran his campaign crying about the lack of transparency in politics, has become Mr. Coverup. There is no transparency in this administration, as they seem to have much to hide. Trump continues to stonewall with the release of the Epstein files, as he has much to answer for. And now the Clintons have outsmarted him, the House, and his corrupt cronies.

Bill and Hillary Clinton just walked into the Epstein fight saying “put us on live TV” and James Comer’s first instinct was to kill the cameras.

They are not asking for special treatment, they are using their very real political brilliance to demand transparency in a case where Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act requiring full unredacted release while the trump administration still dragged its feet and slow walked compliance.

By planting their flag on “public or nothing,” they flip the script and force Republicans to explain why secrecy suddenly matters more than sunlight.

That stance is not just moral high ground, it is a trap. The more the Clintons insist on testifying in public, the more obvious it becomes that the real panic is on the right, where Trump’s orbit brushes up against names and records that have never fully seen daylight. By embracing an open hearing, they are effectively daring Comer and his allies to keep shielding a system that still has trump era fingerprints all over what remains hidden.

This is how you turn years of right wing Clinton obsession inside out. If Republicans refuse public testimony, they look like they are protecting Trump and the remnants of his Justice Department rather than pursuing the truth. If they cave and allow it, they risk an on camera reckoning that ties the unreleased files, the stalled transparency law, and trump’s own connections into one long, unedited narrative that does not break their way.

House Oversight Chair James Comer published emails Thursday between his committee and the legal team for Bill and Hillary Clinton, laying out the terms for the depositions the former president and secretary of State are set deliver at the end of the month under threat of being held in contempt of Congress.

The decision to share that correspondence — which shows the Clintons agreed to transcribed depositions — comes as the Clintons are now doubling down in their desire to appear in open hearings rather than behind closed doors.

“For six months, we engaged Republicans on the Oversight Committee in good faith. We told them what we know, under oath,” she wrote on X. “They ignored all of it. They moved the goalposts and turned accountability into an exercise in distraction.”

“Let’s stop the games,” Hillary Clinton wrote on social media Thursday morning. “You love to talk about transparency. There’s nothing more transparent than a public hearing, cameras on.”

A separate email blast from the press office of Bill Clinton asked recipients to call Comer’s office to demand answers as to why interviews the committee is conducting as part of its Jeffrey Epstein investigation are not happening in public settings.

I'm not a Hillary fan and never was, but one thing I will say is she is smart. Make that two things...she is also tough in a way a guy like crybaby Trump just pretends. Hillary is the real deal.

The Republicans and Trump would rather have Bad Bunny do the next 20 Superbowl Halftime Shows than have Hillary take the Congressional public stage re Epstein even once.

Remember when the bozos in the Republican House tried to hang Hillary over "BENGHAZI !" She sat in a public Hearing for an entire day, going toe to toe with Rep Gowdy and the rest of his clown show, and she walked away undefeated.

Comer knows she has that skill and would shrink guys like Jim Jordan into even smaller caricatures than the little guy already is. Jordan could spend 4:59 of his 5 minute time screaming like a little chihuahua at a visiting Jehovah's Witness, and Hillary would sit stone faced, topping it off with a look of utter contempt.

Clinton can not only think on her feet, she would come to a Hearing fully prepared. She'd deliver one liners that would rip new ones in Trump, his DoJ and the MAGA Congressional Cult of Cowards.

I suspect it would be so bad, Comer would be unlikely even to let Rep Massie (R) ask questions, as he would play fair, rather than hold the (R) Party line.

A public Hearing would be such a disaster, that Trump would probably threaten to remove C-Spans' broadcast license.

He does seem to revert to face-saving measures when his bluff is called and he has to back down. Recent cases: bailing on the Greenland takeover, and the shutting down of the Kennedy Center in the face of artist and audience boycotts.

If Trump truly had to face real fire or danger, he would soil his pants and have to be rushed to the hospital with heart palpitations.

Think you may have forgotten the assassination attempt :) He definitely didn't soil himself. He has gigantuan nuts. I avoid his type whenever possible but him being the President and all makes that difficult :) He is a jerk with some good qualities.
