Masseuse Ordered to Pay €1,000 in Berlin Sexual Assault

A Thai masseuse in Germany has been ordered to pay €1,000 in compensation after a court found she sexually assaulted a male client by providing “special services” without consent. The ruling followed a complaint by a 26-year-old German software engineer, identified only as Ben. The incident took place at a massage shop on Osloer Straße in Berlin.

The 53-year-old masseuse, identified as Sukanya, was reported to police two days after the alleged assault. Ben told local news outlet B.Z. that he had booked a back massage by phone and attended the appointment alone. He said he felt reassured by a sign at the premises stating there was “no happy ending” service.

A photograph published in media reports showed a sign on the shop door reading in German, “no erotic service, medical service only.” Ben said he was taken to a massage room where Sukanya asked him to remove his trousers. Although he found the request unusual, he assumed it was to prevent his clothes from getting oil on them.

According to Ben, Sukanya initially performed the requested back massage before moving her hands to his thighs, buttocks and genitals. He said she later instructed him to lie on his back, tapped his genitals twice and pointed to her mouth while asking whether he wanted “special service.” Ben stated that he refused.

He told B.Z. that he did not have the courage to stop Sukanya or confront her at the shop. After returning home, he said he showered for almost two hours. He reported the sexual assault to police two days later.

During court proceedings, Sukanya said she believed the client wanted an erotic massage. She apologised to Ben in person, and the two sides reached an agreement. The court ordered her to pay €1,000 in compensation within six months.

Thai social media users criticised Sukanya, with some stating the case damaged the image of Thailand and Thai massage. Others said such incidents undermine Thai masseuses who provide medical massage services to clients.

What a joke. What's the world coming to when men need to file sexual assault charges against a masseuse? You would never find this idiocy happening in Thailand. Western countries are barking mad.

Would you say that if it was a female making the complaint ?

Doubt it.

I recall a few weeks ago this amazing massage parlour i had been visiting for all the years ... i always thought it was legit. Never even hinted at anything. She suddenly starts propositioning.

Her breath was so bad (i am talking conjuctivitus bad) that i made some excuse that i had too much to drink. I can't fathom how she could have forced him, mind boggles.

Ok, Ben is a naughty boy. First, he excuses himself with that he didn´t have the courage to say no. Then he receives the happy ending, and after goes home a sues the masseuse. More mind boggling, the court agrees with him.

It´s just to say no, and tell the others working there what was offered. Little Ben cannot eat the cake and have it. Unfortunately, the court agreed with that.

She didn't force him, he was too intimidated to refuse the service so it went ahead.

This story is complete lunacy.

Put more thought into it if you don't see it that way yet.

Was the victim's last name "Dover"?

Because it sure sounds like it.

Okay, turn around is fair play? When has any guy refused a BJ, even from a 53-year old? There are even specialty places just for BJs (a friend told me). There a massage place I walk by. All the masseuses are a hundred years old and the 96-year old is fat--just saying I have not be tempted, though they're very pleasant and I always say hello.

I repeat, what guy ever refuses a BJ?!? Mind-boggling! (Might get one tonight!)

Police in Germany often question clients outside massage parlours. Clients should know they are only required by law to provide their names and address, but often they panic and spill the beans.

Police can also send undercover police to get a massage, but if I'm not mistaken there needs be a 2nd policeman going with him/her.

I have a feeling the above article is not the whole story.

But it wasn't, so what's your point?

Really?

Ever since the #me2 movement kicked off, hundreds, maybe thousands of women have been vilified as "asking for it" when they call out unwanted sexual abuse (and worse) by men after the fact.

It appears that this guy, who apparently didn't have the courage to resist at the time, got "buyers remorse" after a couple of days.

And won. Result!

Ok so you still don't get it. Now go ahead and reply to my silence.

When it's from a man? Yonks ago in Bangkok I asked for a back massage (horse riding injury) from a very straight-looking massage guy at a normal-looking, not gay shop. The guy just couldn't keep his hands off my nether regions.... really annoying!

"Police in Germany often question clients outside massage parlours..."

I've never heard anything like that before. Erotic massage parlors are not banned in Germany, so why should the police take such measures?

Big Ben? I think that's a name of a very old porn movie......

I hope Ben gets the counseling needed for such a horrific assault.

No means no

I remember years ago having a massage in some hotel where my gf and I were staying over, waiting for a flight the next day.

I left my gf in the room and went downstairs for a (real) massage (at least that was my intention). The pooying performed a perfunctory massage and then started bargaining (not exactly propositioning) me regarding an "extra" service which of course I had not requested. I refused.

But at this distance I am not sure I refused because my gf was upstairs and it would make later congress with my gf quite a bit more difficult or because she was demanding 500 baht (in 2008 baht). I was ...er.....morally outraged that she would demand so much (when the going rate in most of Thailand was about 300 or less).

Moral of the story: just say no.

Looks like poor Ben the software engineer spends far too much time in the world of virtual reality and not nearly enough time in the world of actual reality.

That’s exactly what the masseuse said as he "finished"….

In further developments a new sign has been put in the window.

"In the end we expect the wurst"…. 😘
