February 19Feb 19 Dear Folks,After many years of boring retirement, I have decided to rejoin the workforce.This time, however, I will do something new, and try….New Tricks.Yes, TRICKS, and I rule nothing out.However, I will begin slow, and easy, as Tina said, and as she sang so well.The reason I am here posting this Topic today is that I need your advice.For starters, the owner of the bar has asked me to just talk to women who enter off the street.He says all I need to do is sit at one of the tables, and wait.When some woman sits down, then I must start talking.There will be no alcohol involved, because it is not THAT sort of bar.(Also, strictly talk, only, and no flubber, if you have seen that great film.)My MAIN question is: How much should I charge for 30 minutes of talk. And how much for 45 minutes of talk. And, if the talk is going well, then how much should I charge for an hour of talk?There have recently been many posts posted on TV concerning inflation rates in the USA and in Thailand. I think the inflation rate in Thailand is not too bad. It sounds like you only get paid per talk. That might be a lot of wasted waiting time, so you must of course calculate that in your charge. How are you fixing this? As another poster assumed, you are probably on permission to stay based on retirement. With that, it won´t be possible to get a work permit. Are you changing from Non-O to Non-B?
February 19Feb 19 Popular Post what kind of bar would every hire you or anyone to just there and talk to women? the bar isnt making any money on you talking to a customer and the customer certainly isnt going to pay you to talk to them on top of what item they are buying. this is pure nonsense unless you can show a link to this bar.

February 19Feb 19 Popular Post Many years ago there was a high -so wedding in a neighbor village in surin.Suddenly the bride family arrived to my home and invited me and my exwife to the wedding.I had never seen them before.We went there at the afternoon and it was alot of guests there.We get our own table and alot of food and beers and whiskey.They told me to come and stand next to the new married couple and took alot of pics.It was important for them that a foreigner was at the wedding and they asked if they could post my pics on social media.I said no problem at all.I sat with many different people on different tables.A really funny nigth with live music.When i woke up the next morning my exwife asked me who the girls was i sat with and why they hugged me and kissed me on my forhead.To be honest i get so drunk i couldn't remember the last hours at the wedding.I couldn't even remember how we get back home.2 days after they came back and invited me to go to surin and play golf.That day it ended up with the caddies brought beer and drinks to us.Again i couldn't remember how i get back home but my exwife told me when i arrived home i had only one shoe.And the people i went with was also wasted she said.Of course the driver was sober.Funny memories.

Surely nothing can go wrong with that.I suspect the bar owner may be on a quiet self destruct mission. Perhaps he is fed up and wants the business to collapse so he can finally shut it all down. A flawless strategy really. Hire an incoherent fruitcake to scare off the last decent customers. One glimpse of the new maître d and they will be heading straight for the exit.It is actually not a bad business plan, it just might work.On the other hand, if the bar truly wanted someone to entertain women with sparkling conversation, they would simply bring in an AI robot from China who looks like a younger version of George Clooney to handle the job. The very last move would be to hire a Pee Wee Herman lookalike who has gone completely off the rails.

February 19Feb 19 Always quite sad to see all those western men, young or old, to pay just to talk and drink with some lady in a gogo bar. Sure, if there is the barfine, it does end up in fireworks back at the hotel. But still. People now just cannot handle it and be satisfied in their own company and with themselves.Not to mention all the STD's that run around in Thailand. Even with intimate protection, there are some infections that can be caught just by skin contact.
