Help changing providers in UK for use in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm a Brit with an account with Vodaphone. Their prices are going up and I want to switch. I need to keep my UK number. I can switch to a different provider in the UK but it's difficult if not impossible to activate the SIM if I'm here in Thailand.

Does anyone know a solution?

Thanks in advance

Robert

i think with giffgaff you can still activate in Thailand.

Problem is the sim doesn't always arrive but you can get an esim instead but need a phone with that functionality.

With the Physical sim, you activate then port number from Vodafone to giffgaff, i top up £10 lasts years, send an sms every 6 months if unused
