What's with the Stasi approach? The only people who go with this type of questioning are extremists, like the Hezbollah operative on the forum. There is no love for Iran in the Gulf Arab nations. They knew that one day there would be a war. Just watched a interview with Lord Dannet he was once the head of the British Army. He was asked why has the UK not helped more in the war in the Middle East and aiding America. His answer nailed it, he said first Trump should have thought about the repurcustions for the west if Iran is attacked regarding oil imports. He went on to say Trump didnt think about it he just went with Israel instead of forming a coalition of Countrys that could be impacted if oil was stopped coming through the Straits of Hormuz. He Trump never contacted anyone from Starmer to the german chancelor and in Lord Dannets mind this was wrong. He never thought to think about this, he took it on himself and now has a problem to make the straits safe for shipping and making threats to Country's he is now asking to help will only backfire on him.
