The stock market was tanking again, so Trump had to live up to his nickname, and he taco'd.

The Iranians seem to be unaware they were involved in talks with the US. They also seem to have called Trump's bluff.

Larijani was as moderate and adult as anyone in the Iranian government, and might have been able to help tone down the war, but Israel decided to kill him.

There are three key players in this game, and only one has said there is progress. Waiting for confirmation from both Israel and Iran.

Given the warning shot that Iran sucessfully did on Dimona which should be the best defended area on earth Iran has proved they don't need a nuke - just hit the reactor multiple times with hypersonic missiles and you have a doomsday weapon. They have proved with the radar knockouts that they can do pinprick accuracy.

The war isn’t over; it has just entered a 'Post-Nuclear' phase. Saturday’s Dimona strike proves that Iran effectively has a 'nuke' without needing the warhead. By bypassing the 'Shield' and landing hits within a few kilometers of the reactor, they’ve shown they can turn Israel’s own infrastructure into a weapon of mass destruction.

Unless the IDF can totally dismantle Iran’s missile capabilities which they haven't done in three weeks of strikes Israel remains on the back foot. Trump might be looking for a 'Tactical Win' to wind this down, but Netanyahu knows that for Israel, a 'near miss' at Dimona is an existential defeat. He won't stop until the threat is physically gone. So keep your champers on ice for now.

Assuming he knows who he was talking to.

It might have been any of the regional leaders who knew Iran would wipe out their critical water supplies if Trump attacked Iranian power systems.
