Look up how time zones are determined by each country and how the amend them to suiite their particular situation!

The United Kingdom is in the Greenwich Mean Time zone. All places including the capital London have the same time, there are no exceptions. The country observes daylight savings so there are two different clocks depending on the time of the year.

• British Summer Time (BST): +1:00 UTC (ahead)

Better alert you as well. The UK is presently on British Summer Time, mainly because it is the reading the clocks have been set to show today. We go back to GMT, including Greenwich, not Greenwich Village NY, at 2am this Sunday morning.
