In Maharat Road by the Tha Phra Chan express boat stop. The shops run down one side and the Wat on the other. They used to always stock big sandals at least for the monks, Bata etc. Good luck and enjoy the trip as it's a fab area to hang out in too :o

Try having shoes made to order. I've used Tony Leather, on Surawong, opposite Jim Thompson, for several years. Excellent quality and reasonable prices. I still have a pair they made back in '98 and my shoes don't usually last half that long.
