Too bad --- can you access the website at least? I wish I could photoshop. I've tried, I just can't seem to master the steady hand on the mouse thing. Or I can't figure out the shortcuts. Could be both. :o

Quite a few cool photoshopping websites out there, even some contests for those that are really skilled.

There's a new program coming out (if it's not released already) called Photoshop Top Secret, it's cutting edge high end studio, waaaaaaaaay beyond me,

(well Photoshop 7 is beyond me, I'll just stick with Picassa) but google it and look at some the amazing effects, absolutley stunning. as far as I can tell there is a limited amount of these programs available and there is an intensive training course to go with it. I think it's aimed at art students and people in the entertainment industry.

Thanks for the heads up on the site, that's going on favorites. :o

Great website first time I have seen that, its given me plenty of inspiration to get cracking with Photoshop again myself (its been a while sorry BoJangles and Austhaied).

Im just about capable with photoshop and entirely self taught. I found that by far and away the best way to learn is to follow tutorials.

Google 'photoshop tutorials' and you'll be inundated with tricks and tips to follow.

When I started out doing this I used to find myself most often over at good-tutorials.com browsing through the effects and following the ones that catch my eye. Patience is the key, a steady hand is not necessary so long as you zoom in and take your time being accurate.

Some of the forum sigs I posted here before (on that 'are you creative thread') took several hours to complete, many of them have upwards of 50 layers and all of them were compiled using photoshop cs1.

SBK, thank you for the site.

Posted a photo just now on it "Life just sucks". :D

Kan Win :o

...there was no Photoshop. :o

When you work with 3D graphic and animation programmes such as Maya and/or compositing programmes like Shake..you suddenly realise Photoshop is a doddle!

Btw: http://www.photoshoptopsecret.com/ <--- V.Nice! But expensive. When i need help i gen just google for some free tuts or ask in forums. Unless im working for a company or on a project where i can purchase these things under expenses..there is just no way i can justify paying out that money :o

Saw the write-up in BKK Post Outlook section- awesome site, thanks for the reminder!
