I remember when having 10 in a row seemed notable....but after awhile 10 in a row is just par for the course and it takes alot more than 10 in a row before it even begins to seem impressive.

You put them into a 5 pointed star shape. One at the end of each point and one where the lines cross each other, if you know what i mean. Don't know how i can show the answer on here.

OK...here's a clue....it is a 3 dimensional solution, not a 2-d one....and the shape has alot of 5 pointed star shapes in it just like the five rows of four solution.

I had a fifth grade teacher who would tell you to "put on your thinking cap". That was Mrs. Wellman. If you were a boy and a bit unruly she would make you wear one of her earings for a few minutes....they were the big clunky ones with clamps and were presumably not very comfortable....or becoming for a fifth grade boy!!!!....of course I never got had to wear them.

The thinking cap is a product of the imagination. The idea was to teach children that when confronted with a difficult mental task that one needed to change gears so to speak and focus the mind...by "putting on your thinking cap" you were putting other mental tasks aside and focusing on the mental task.....at least that's what I figure it meant....but maybe I'm wrong and it is really some sort of evil mind control strategy......I think prolonged use of a tin foil hat could probably reverse the effects of the thinking cap though so I guess all is not lost....or maybe all IS lost and I just don't realize it because of the thinking cap....hmmmmmmm............

Really chownah, I thought you were all issued with a cap that gave you super-human powers of concentration when faced with a problem!
