I got a bit annoyed with someone yesterday (not screaming and shouting, but I was annoyed!) and as I was waxing lyrical they said: "Yo, easy tiger!" Which did calm me down somewhat.

As I have been known by a number of names including my nick, over the years, I answer to most things if I think the person trying to address me.

I was honoured the other month when I visited teeruk in Yasothon, her uncles upgraded my from "falang" to "hey you". :o

I was always curious about the Z, Pete. Being a sheep shagger, it would be pronounced 'Zed'. So Zed Pete? Did you sign-up to TV with an expectation of being press-ganged into some form of wiki work (and assumed it would be assigned in alphabetical order)?

Well, coming from a jumbuck jumper, that is calling the kettle black.

Ping, go back of Burke or the black stump, where eva ya lives, and jump in ya billabong.

Guess yer a wallaby jumper too.

PMPL

(Info: jumbuck = sheep)

Yes.

Particularly if it's followed by the phrase "The Beer's Free".

Wot is PMPL short for? pimple?

Oh I don't claim to understand all this modern 'text' speak!

It means he was having a laugh at his own humour (p1ssing my pants laughing) - and I had a good laugh too. BUT, did you notice that he avoided answering the question? Come on Pete, out with it!

Acronyms are always obvious once you see what they stand for.

or you could just invent your own.....

pulling my p*n*s longer :o

Well Pete gave me the explanation in the 'They Say You Should Never (answer a question with a question)' thread, so all's good. You can put your gumboots back on and get out to the top paddock again now, my friend.

Although from your avatar your's would be MMBB

(Making My <deleted> Blacker)

:D

CB

Of course, in your case CB, rather than call to you as 'Crow Boy', they could just do a Graham Kennedy. (Perhaps a touch esoteric for other posters. GK was a tonight show presenter and in the 70s, he did his impression of a crow call on live TV - a shrilly called out 'fark'. I think they may have taken the show off the air for a week or two over it?)

Definitely Yes

Hey pampal, have you gone to the pinned thread at the top of the page to introduce yourself? Sorry if you have and I've missed it. If you have not done so, get your arse up there and do it! :o

Ah, another new inmate creeps in silently through the back door...

I wouldn't answer, because my thai name is "Det" (its a long story)

If I had a lurcher I'd call it Lurker. If I had a Terrier i'd call it Terry.

Sadly I have the runt of the litter, so................................................yep you guessed it........................Tiny it is.

Same here, it must be the internet version of giving us the silent treatment :D

No, that would be just a blank box!

Would that be a small blank box or a big blank box? Would a big blank box make more of a statement than a small blank box? Does the size of a blank box really matter, or is it more a matter of the skilfulness with which it is placed?

Maybe it's an acronym... that's it! You're wishing us Lots Of Love! Very thoughtful... er, you're not turning, are you?
